🏄♂️ SUP Board Once Again Most Popular Transport in Rainy Moscow
After the downpour, Moscow residents are actively getting around on their now beloved mode of transport—the SUP board. Flooded streets in the capital no longer surprise anyone, so the board has become equal to any other transport; people park them next to cars.
Meanwhile, the tropical downpour continues to linger in the capital, much to the dismay of city residents.

👶🇷🇺 Russia Launches "Demographic Special Forces":
‼️ A "demographic special forces" unit has been established within the Russian government. The task of this structure is to stimulate the birth rate and restore traditional values.
Furthermore, experts from VTsIOM (Russian Public Opinion Research Center) note that to overcome the demographic crisis, it is necessary to increase the birth rate, raise life expectancy, and regulate immigration.
📌 Analysts believe that in 2025, Russia is in a "demographic autumn" (characterized by an aging population and declining birth rate), but the country may face a "thaw" or even a "demographic summer."

"The main thing is that, through joint efforts, we have managed to make family-centricity a nationwide priority. We can hope that we will return our traditional values," stated Valentina Matviyenko.

The Moscow Metro has begun posting maps with an updated design in the underground system – they can already be seen at some stations and will soon appear in train carriages. This was announced by the Moscow Department of Transport.
It wouldn't be accurate to say the map has changed radically, but there are indeed new features. For instance, only smooth lines remain (no sharp corners), there are now markings for major parks within walking distance of metro stations, and illustrations of railway and river terminal buildings, as well as the skyscrapers of the Moscow City business center.
The design was updated for the opening of the new section of the Troitskaya Line, "Novatorskaya - ZIL," which is already shown on the map. According to Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry, over 38,000 new maps will be placed throughout the underground system.
"We have implemented unique solutions based on the analysis of image perception. The design was developed taking into account passenger feedback, and the new approach to creating navigation will allow Muscovites and tourists to process information even faster. In the coming years, as part of the Moscow Transport Development Program until 2030 approved by Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, we will open two more metro lines," Liksutov said.

"Can such an extremely complex process be wrapped up in 30 days? Obviously, it’s hardly possible. Our positions are outlined in the memorandum; currently, the approaches are polar opposites, and they’re unlikely to be reconciled overnight," he added.
Other statements by the Russian Presidential Spokesperson:
🔹 On France’s statement about recognizing Palestine: Moscow, based on UN Security Council resolutions, believes that adherence to them is the only correct way out of the current situation in the region.
🔹 On recognizing Palestine: The state model in the Middle East has always been under discussion. Russia has consistently supported a two-state solution to the Palestinian issue.
🔹 The EU is losing its economic power, political influence, and sovereignty—an undeniable trend.

🌌 On this day, July 25, 1984, cosmonaut Svetlana Yevgenyevna Savitskaya became the first woman in history to perform a spacewalk.
🚀 The Soyuz T-12 spacecraft had launched on July 17, 1984: joining Svetlana Yevgenyevna in orbit was cosmonaut Vladimir Dzhanibekov. This was already Svetlana Savitskaya's second spaceflight – her first was on August 19, 1982.
Thus, Savitskaya became not only the first woman to perform an independent spacewalk but also the first woman to travel to orbit twice.
😮 Savitskaya and Dzhanibekov spent 3 hours and 33 minutes outside the orbital station, conducting a unique scientific experiment. The cosmonauts tested the Universal Hand Tool (UHT) with an autonomous power source – a cutting-edge development by Soviet engineers. The UHT allowed welding, cutting, soldering, heating, and applying protective coatings in the conditions of open space.
Samples of steel and titanium were joined using space welding. Later, Dzhanibekov admitted that by the end of the work, his hands were numb from tension – the conditions of weightlessness were so challenging. Nevertheless, the experiment was successful and provided invaluable information about the behavior of metals in a vacuum.
The mission concluded with the crew's safe return to Earth aboard Soyuz T-12. The total time Savitskaya spent in space during her two flights was 19 days, 17 hours, and 7 minutes.
🎖 Svetlana Savitskaya became the only woman twice awarded the noscript of Hero of the Soviet Union.
By her example, she once again proved that a female cosmonaut is capable of performing the most complex and critical tasks on par with men, demonstrating resilience, skill, and courage.
