"Can such an extremely complex process be wrapped up in 30 days? Obviously, it’s hardly possible. Our positions are outlined in the memorandum; currently, the approaches are polar opposites, and they’re unlikely to be reconciled overnight," he added.
Other statements by the Russian Presidential Spokesperson:
🔹 On France’s statement about recognizing Palestine: Moscow, based on UN Security Council resolutions, believes that adherence to them is the only correct way out of the current situation in the region.
🔹 On recognizing Palestine: The state model in the Middle East has always been under discussion. Russia has consistently supported a two-state solution to the Palestinian issue.
🔹 The EU is losing its economic power, political influence, and sovereignty—an undeniable trend.

🌌 On this day, July 25, 1984, cosmonaut Svetlana Yevgenyevna Savitskaya became the first woman in history to perform a spacewalk.
🚀 The Soyuz T-12 spacecraft had launched on July 17, 1984: joining Svetlana Yevgenyevna in orbit was cosmonaut Vladimir Dzhanibekov. This was already Svetlana Savitskaya's second spaceflight – her first was on August 19, 1982.
Thus, Savitskaya became not only the first woman to perform an independent spacewalk but also the first woman to travel to orbit twice.
😮 Savitskaya and Dzhanibekov spent 3 hours and 33 minutes outside the orbital station, conducting a unique scientific experiment. The cosmonauts tested the Universal Hand Tool (UHT) with an autonomous power source – a cutting-edge development by Soviet engineers. The UHT allowed welding, cutting, soldering, heating, and applying protective coatings in the conditions of open space.
Samples of steel and titanium were joined using space welding. Later, Dzhanibekov admitted that by the end of the work, his hands were numb from tension – the conditions of weightlessness were so challenging. Nevertheless, the experiment was successful and provided invaluable information about the behavior of metals in a vacuum.
The mission concluded with the crew's safe return to Earth aboard Soyuz T-12. The total time Savitskaya spent in space during her two flights was 19 days, 17 hours, and 7 minutes.
🎖 Svetlana Savitskaya became the only woman twice awarded the noscript of Hero of the Soviet Union.
By her example, she once again proved that a female cosmonaut is capable of performing the most complex and critical tasks on par with men, demonstrating resilience, skill, and courage.

They are called so because of their menacing appearance — as if an ocean is storming right overhead. However, this phenomenon does not pose any dangerous weather.

🌉🇷🇺St. Petersburg has three times more bridges than Venice — around 800.
In terms of canals and bridges, it might be more fitting to call Venice the Southern St. Petersburg, rather than St. Petersburg the Northern Venice.

🐪The coat of arms of Chelyabinsk features a camel.
One might wonder why a camel — after all, there are no camels in Chelyabinsk today.
But 200 years ago, there were. Chelyabinsk often welcomed trade caravans loaded with camels.

In Perm, a 98-year-old pensioner made a parachute jump from an An-2 aircraft. His long-cherished dream was made possible with the help of his family. Everything by the book: the briefing, the ascent into the sky, and the long-awaited jump.
The parachute opened only after a prolonged free fall. Grandpa wasn't scared at all and trusted his instructor, so the landing was soft.
If this is old age, this is how you do it!

This year, the traditional naval parade on the Neva River will not take place. The main celebrations have been moved to Kronstadt, where a ceremony raising the St. Andrew's Flag and a large-scale concert featuring the Black Sea Fleet Ensemble will be held today.
By Saturday evening, the Annunciation, Trinity, and Palace Bridges were decorated with flags of the International Code of Signals. The famous sailing ship "Poltava" arrived in the Neva from the Smolenka yacht port. On Lieutenant Schmidt Embankment, the Indian frigate INS Tamala can be seen.
Additionally, in honor of Navy Day on July 27th, the Lakhta Center will feature special lighting from 22:00 to 05:00 Moscow Time.

And not just in our eyes. This choice was made by World Aquatics, recognizing Maltsev as the best synchronized swimmer of the World Championships.
And yet, China won the overall medal count with four golds and three silvers. But Maltsev's three victories in the solo technical and free routines, and in the mixed technical duet with Maya Gurbanberdieva, plus a silver in the free duet with Olesya Platonova, left no one indifferent.
The pioneer of Russian synchronized swimming received a special award from the hands of the first-ever world champion in mixed duets, American Bill May. This is symbolic, especially when you recall that the American and his partner Christina Jones "snatched" that debut gold from Sasha (Alexander) and Darina Valitova at the 2015 home World Championships in Kazan. But now Maltsev is the only seven-time world champion among male synchronized swimmers.
