😁 "I said no more than three! I told you, I told you!" A motorist chased a group of bears off a Kamchatka beach.

The stern local "ranger" didn't like the gathering of the clumsy ones, so he "reprimanded" them for their unauthorized get-together. The forest dwellers had no choice but to flee from the angry man.

🏞 Talovo: A Village at the Edge of the World

The familiar expression "do Talovo" (to Talovo), meaning the farthest point, the end of the road, was born in the harsh expanses of the Perm Krai.

Its authors were lumberjacks and carters who conquered remote corners of the Ural taiga during the heyday of the timber industry. The tiny village of Talovo on the Kolva River was for them the last outpost of civilization, beyond which stretched only a desolate, boundless taiga.

It was here, at this boundary between worlds, that the phrase was first uttered: "Do Talovo" – the road ends here.

🏗 The controversial sculpture "Big Clay #4," which previously sparked heated debates among both architects and local residents, has begun to be dismantled in Moscow.

Installed in front of the GES-2 House of Culture in August 2021, the work by Swiss artist Urs Fischer—widely perceived as incomprehensible—depicts massively enlarged lumps of clay stacked (or, more accurately, haphazardly piled) atop one another. Fischer intended it to symbolize incompleteness and the potential to shape new creations from such a malleable material. However, for many untrained in the arts, the 13-meter composition evoked only associations with human waste.

Originally created in 2013, the sculpture was displayed in New York and Florence before coming to Moscow. Remarkably, only residents of the Russian capital reacted with such negativity that guards were temporarily posted around "Big Clay #4."

Over time, Muscovites grew accustomed to it. Yet it is now being removed—not due to public demand, authorities clarify, but because it was always planned as a temporary installation. A new artwork will replace it, though its nature remains undisclosed.

🇷🇺 Dmitry Medvedev: "Every new ultimatum is a threat and a step towards war."

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on Trump's recent statement about shortening the "ultimatum" deadline for settling the Russia-Ukraine conflict from 50 days to 10-12.

"Trump is playing the ultimatum game with Russia: 50 days or 10...

He should remember two things:

1. Russia is not Israel, and not even Iran.

2. Every new ultimatum is a threat and a step towards war. Not against Russia and Ukraine, but against their own country. Don’t follow Sleepy Joe’s path!" Medvedev wrote in his X account.

🇷🇺💬 Russia remains committed to the UN Security Council resolution on the creation of two states – Israel and Palestine, stated Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko on the sidelines of the VI World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Geneva.

"We are absolutely consistent in this and, as parliamentarians, promote this on all international parliamentary platforms where possible," she said, noting that Russia is closely monitoring the situation in the region and, by decision of the President, is providing humanitarian assistance.

🇨🇺 Matvienko also addressed the status of Cuba as a BRICS partner state and an EAEU observer state. In her opinion, Havana has new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation with the members of these associations.

The Federation Council Speaker recalled that not only Russia actively supported Cuba's accession to BRICS as a partner state, but so did the other member countries. Furthermore, Matvienko emphasized that Russia was very pleased to host Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel at the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in Moscow.

📌 The day before, the Speaker of the Federation Council participated in the XV Summit of Women Speakers of Parliament as part of the World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Geneva. During her speech, Matvienko invited her foreign colleagues to visit Donbass. She also recalled that Russia had sought a diplomatic settlement of the conflict within the framework of the Minsk Agreements, but Kyiv ignored these calls and continued to exert forceful pressure.

🏖️ Meanwhile, tourists in Sochi started being sold... shade.

Eyewitnesses report that enterprising beach area renters have come up with a price for using narrow strips of shade. This is due to the large crowds of tourists lying on the sand who don't want to pay for sunbeds.

😜 The Russian Tour Operators Association has already called this initiative illegal.

The beaches are municipal property, and if a renter has invented a "subletting" contract for the sand, this constitutes a violation.

🤯 The strongest earthquake since 1952, with a magnitude of 8.7, was recorded off Kamchatka.

Waves in the Yelizovsky District of the Kamchatka Territory reached 3-4 meters. Four departures were delayed at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport as a result.

Videos taken inside the airport building show ceiling damage and collapsed decorative panels resulting from the earthquake. Passengers were evacuated to the airport's inner courtyard; during the tremors, they took cover under tables.

Meanwhile, on the Kuril Islands, a plant was flooded due to a tsunami. No information on casualties or fatalities was provided. Videos and photos are being shared by local residents.
