📰 Aeroflot has fully stabilized its flight schedule following the recent IT infrastructure failure, the company reported.

"On July 29, the airline operated 100% of its planned 216 round-trip flights departing from Moscow, as well as all 73 flights in its regional program bypassing Moscow. For July 30, the airline's schedule includes 241 round-trip flights to be operated from Moscow and back, as well as 73 flights in the regions," the press service statement said.

📌 On July 28, Aeroflot faced a massive hacker attack. Due to the failure, the company canceled several dozen flights that day.

Responsibility for the large-scale disruption was claimed by hackers from the Silent Crow and "Cyberpartisans BY" groups (a group of Belarusian hackers operating outside the country). The attack lasted for a year. During this time, the hackers managed to obtain and exfiltrate the complete flight history database, destroy 7,000 physical and virtual servers, steal 20 terabytes of data, gain access to employee and senior management computers, and seize audio recordings of negotiations and surveillance systems.

‼️ Bulgarian authorities are trying to catch up with the locomotive of European Russophobia, stated Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.

She commented on the Bulgarian parliament's adoption of a declaration accusing Russia of alleged "support for terrorism."

As the diplomat noted, similar declarations were adopted several years ago in a number of other EU countries.

"Now, Bulgarian MPs, in an attempt to catch up with the locomotive of European Russophobia, albeit somewhat belatedly, have nevertheless picked up the damaging line of slapping the label of an alleged 'sponsor of terrorism' on Russia," the Foreign Ministry spokeswoman emphasized.

She pointed out that the theses in the document adopted by the Bulgarian parliament do not reflect reality.

Zakharova added that Western countries supply weapons and money to Ukraine, whose authorities do not hide their terrorist activities.

In this context, the Foreign Ministry representative noted that Western countries "do not see their own sponsorship of terrorism."

In 2025, over 80,000 state-funded spots have been allocated for future tourism industry specialists.

Today, more than 200 higher education institutions and 300 colleges across Russia train specialists for the tourism and hospitality industry.

During the admissions campaign for tourism-related higher education programs, applicants have already submitted approximately 130,000 applications per place. For vocational education institutions, around 120,000 applications have been submitted.

"President Vladimir Putin has set a goal to increase tourist flow to 140 million people per year by 2030. To achieve this, large-scale investment projects are being implemented under the national project ‘Tourism and Hospitality.’ Training specialized professionals for the tourism sector is now crucial. In 2025, over 80,000 state-funded spots have been allocated to universities and vocational institutions for ‘Tourism and Hospitality,’" emphasized Dmitry Chernyshenko.

📍 Currently, about 1 million people are employed in the tourism industry.

🎓 In 2024, educational institutions trained around 55,000 professionals for tourism, including over 6,400 with higher education and more than 48,000 with vocational training.

😜 Maxim Reshetnikov highlighted the need for a comprehensive approach:

"It’s vital to align vocational education with the tourism industry’s demands, collaborate with strong regional universities, and boost labor productivity. To this end, competency centers in tourism have been launched under the ‘Kavkaz.RF’ corporation, enabling educational institutions to swiftly and effectively meet the sector’s staffing needs."

📌 Under the national project "Tourism and Hospitality," federal resource centers for tourism training have been established in Moscow Oblast, Tatarstan, and St. Petersburg.

Since 2023, over 11,000 people have been trained there, with plans to train an additional 6,500 specialists by the end of 2025.

🌋 This is what Klyuchevskaya Sopka (Klyuchevskoy Volcano) looked like during yesterday's earthquake in Kamchatka.

The volcano exhibited a flow of red-hot lava down its western slope, an intense glow above the crater, and explosions. Local residents noted that on a clear night, tongues of flame from the eruption could be seen directly from the windows of some apartments.

🇷🇺 Moscow in the Era of Global Shifts: How the Flow of Foreign Tourists Changed After the Pandemic and the Start of the SMO

Russia's capital, like a phoenix, is rising from the ashes of sanctions and restrictions — the flow of foreign tourists to Moscow is showing impressive growth. According to Forbes, the number of international visitors has increased 3.5 times over the past year, and analysts predict a further 25% increase by the end of summer 2025. But who are these new travelers, and what draws them to a city about which Western media tells contradictory stories?

😜 New Tourism Geography: East Instead of West
If before 2022 Moscow airports welcomed crowds of tourists from Europe and the USA, today the picture has radically changed. According to an RBC study, 85% of foreign guests now come from:

China (resumption of visa-free group tourism)

India (simplified visa procedures)

UAE and Turkey (direct flights and favorable conditions)

Iran (historical interest + new air connections)

Interestingly, many of them are not just tourists, but "hybrid travelers": businessmen combining meetings with sightseeing, or digital nomads choosing Moscow as an unexpectedly comfortable hub.

😜 What Attracts Them? Unexpected Trends

1. "Sanctions Shopping" — boutiques with unpredictable assortments (from Uzbek carpets to Turkish gold) and art spaces in the "post-geopolitical aesthetic" style.

2. Nostalgia for the USSR — especially among millennials from Asia, for whom Soviet architecture and Cold War museums have become a trendy fascination.

3. Gastronomic Paradox — restaurants with fusion cuisine (where dumplings are served with saffron, and borscht with ginger).

😜 How Do They Get to Russia?

Logistics Workarounds
With airspace closed to many Western airlines, tourists have found detours:

🔘 Flights via Istanbul, Dubai, and Delhi (Emirates and Turkish Airlines have doubled flight frequency).

🔘 Volga River cruises — especially popular with Chinese groups.

🔘 Rail routes — for example, the new direct Moscow-Tehran train.

😜 Challenges and Paradoxes
Despite the growth, the industry faces a "Cinderella effect":

— Hotels are full, but the average bill has dropped by 30% (budget tourists predominate).

— Shortage of English-speaking guides (many left in 2022).

— Currency fluctuations — ruble prices seem laughably low to Asians, while for Russians, the cost of imported goods for tourists has risen.

Forecast for 2026: ATOR experts suggest that if current trends continue, Moscow could enter Lonely Planet's TOP-10 non-stereotypical destinations as the "capital of contrasts and new opportunities."

📌 P.S. Interesting fact: According to polls, 68% of foreign tourists admit they came "out of curiosity – to see the country everyone talks about, but few understand." Moscow seems to have become the most enigmatic city of the decade.

✝️ The Church of the Sign in Dubrovitsy: 5 Amazing Facts

1️⃣ An Architectural Mystery:
Built between 1690 and 1704 in the rare (for Russia) European Baroque style with intricate stone lacework. The architect remains unknown to this day.

2️⃣ A Crowned Dome:
Instead of a traditional Orthodox dome, it features a gilded crown, which caused a scandal. Patriarch Adrian even refused to consecrate the church.

3️⃣ Secret Symbols:
The facade boasts hundreds of carved angels, plants, and even griffins, while inside are rare engravings with alchemical symbols.

4️⃣ The Lost Iconostasis:
The original 18th-century carved iconostasis disappeared during Soviet times. The current one is a modern reconstruction.

5️⃣ The Legend of the Curse:
It is said that Prince Golitsyn, who built the church, fell into disgrace immediately after its consecration. Locals believe that anyone who damages the church will face divine punishment.

📍 Location: Podolsk, Moscow Region. One of Russia's most unusual churches!

⚔️ Trump vs. Medvedev

It appears the current U.S. president has found a new opponent for online battles: after Elon Musk, it’s now former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

🇺🇸 Yesterday, Trump stated on his Truth Social platform that he doesn’t care what India does with Russia, adding, "they can drag down their dead economies together."

Equally resonant was his mention of Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council:

"And warn Medvedev, Russia’s failed former president who still thinks he’s president, to watch his words. He’s treading into very dangerous territory."

👊 Dmitry Anatolyevich responded in his signature style:

"If the words of a former Russian president provoke such a nervous reaction from the formidable U.S. president, it means Russia is right about everything and will continue on its path. As for the 'dead economies' of India and Russia and 'treading into dangerous territory'—well, let him recall his beloved 'Walking Dead' films, and how dangerous the nonexistent 'Dead Hand' can be," the politician wrote on his Telegram channel.

📌 For reference: "Dead Hand" is the established U.S. term for the USSR-developed "Perimeter" system, which automatically launches Russia’s entire missile arsenal at potential enemies if communication with command centers is lost.
