🏡 The Muranovo Estate Museum-Reserve

The Muranovo Estate Museum-Reserve is a unique example of a mid-sized 19th-century Russian noble estate. The ancient estate is located 50 km from Moscow along the Yaroslavl railway. The poet Yevgeny Abramovich Baratynsky lived here for some time with his family. The house that stands in Muranovo to this day was built according to his designs and plans.

The family of the poet Fyodor Ivanovich Tyutchev also lived in Muranovo. After his death, his family relics and manunoscripts were brought to the estate. Thus, Muranovo became the primary repository of the legacy of the great Russian poet.

The museum's collection comprises over 28,000 items. The majority of the objects are memorial artifacts that belonged to the estate's owners and their relatives.

It's always a pleasure to take a walk through the Muranovo park – to stroll down the rose and linden alleys, to see the remains of the pond system, and to feel the pleasant coolness under the shade of centuries-old oaks and larches.

🗿The Sculpture Courtyard

Moscow's courtyards hold many secrets! For instance, on Sadovaya-Chernogryazskaya Street, there's a hidden small open-air sculpture museum.

The entrance to the courtyard is guarded by two lions on pedestals by the entrance gates. In the courtyard of a Soviet-era apartment building stands a mansion, whose premises are rented out to various offices.

☔️ Guests of the courtyard are greeted by a girl with an umbrella, standing on a rock formation in the center of a fountain. She is enjoying the bad weather, jumping through puddles in a light dress, and holding out her palm to check if the rain has stopped.

An extension of the sculpture and the fountain are the mansion's columns. They are faced with stone, around which cast-iron ivy with metal leaves twines. Metal maple leaves also adorn the mansion's interfloor cornice. Pay attention to the clock with golden hands installed here.

Next to a nearby tree, a life-sized cast-iron dog has settled in. He is engaged in a truly canine activity – marking his territory. On a bench in front of the house, a cast-iron city dweller is resting. He invites you to sit down next to him and relax under the trees.

Local residents believe that the man and the girl are characters from Vladimir Nabokov's novel "Lolita." The figures appeared here thanks to Mikhail Abramov, the founder of the Museum of Russian Icons.

🎉 On September 27, the largest federal subject of Russia and the largest administrative-territorial entity in the world – the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) – celebrates its Statehood Day.

The issue of establishing Yakutia's statehood by defining its status within Russia was first raised in the early 1920s. During that historical period, the idea of granting Yakutia the status of an autonomous republic within the RSFSR was supported by the Soviet government and personally by V.I. Lenin. As a result, in April 1922, a corresponding Decree of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee was issued, and Yakutia acquired the status of an Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic within the RSFSR.

An important stage in the formation of statehood for this Russian region was the proclamation of the Declaration of State Sovereignty, the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Yakutia, the establishment of the post of President of the Republic, and the renaming of the region to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The Declaration of State Sovereignty of the republic was proclaimed on September 27, 1990. From that moment on, September 27 is considered the Statehood Day of the Republic of Sakha.

Annually, for several days at the end of September, festive events dedicated to Statehood Day are held throughout the region. They take place in schools, secondary and higher educational institutions in the form of civics lessons, thematic classes, and seminars. Cultural and art institutions, political and public figures, and organizations are involved in participating and organizing the festivities. Cities and villages host exhibitions, youth gatherings, flash mobs, scientific-practical conferences, theatrical performances, environmental campaigns, family festivals, and other events.

In the video, the song was performed in the national Yakut language.

Any aggression against Russia will be met with a resolute rebuff. NATO and the EU should have no doubts about this, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated during the general political discussion at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly yesterday.

What else the minister spoke about:

🧣Ukraine is the only country in the world that has legally banned the use of the native language for nearly half of its population;

🧣Europe is allowing Kyiv to commit terrorist attacks,executions, and reckless sabotage in its obsession to inflict a "strategic defeat" on Russia;

🧣Russia does not have and never had any intentions to attack NATO and the EU;

🧣Kyiv and the West lack an understanding of the acuteness of the moment and the desire to negotiate honestly;

🧣Russia sacredly honors the memory of the wartime brotherhood with all allies who stood on the side of truth in the fight against the forces of evil in the form of German Nazism;

🧣The root of all problems lies in the incessant attempts to divide the world into a"blooming garden" and a "jungle".

"This record has become not just an entry in an official document. It is a vivid testimony that traditions are alive," Merdanov noted.
