The Ministry of Education is considering a raise in teachers' salaries across the country, as reported to RIA Novosti by the head of the ministry, Sergey Kravtsov, on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.

"The salary system should be clear, transparent, and there should be no such disparities as we have now. And I do not rule out that there will be an increase in wages," he said.

📊 According to Kravtsov, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labor are jointly monitoring the situation to ensure that the average salary of teachers is not lower than the average salary in the regions.

"Accordingly, depending on how the average salary in a region grows, so does the teacher's salary," the minister added.
