🌌 Monument "To the Conquerors of Space"

In the Ostankinsky District of Moscow stands a monument dedicated to humanity's first achievements in space. It was unveiled on October 4, 1964. In a nationwide competition involving a thousand projects, a concise design was chosen: an 11-meter rocket with a nearly 100-meter long plume, tilted at an angle of 77°, symbolizing the trajectory of a launch.

At the time of its installation, it was the tallest monument in Russia; today, it is second in height only to the Monument of Victory on Poklonnaya Hill. The structure was clad in 45 tons of titanium, a proposal made by Sergei Korolev.

The side walls of the stylobate are adorned with haut-reliefs of the people who contributed to space exploration. Beneath the monument, the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics operates, where you can learn the history of flights to the stars and see unique exhibits.

SVR Data on Deployment of French Troops to Ukraine is Alarming, but Russian Military Regularly Hears Foreign Languages on the Frontline, Dmitry Peskov Says.

Other statements by the Russian President's press secretary:

🔴 Against the backdrop of "militarist hysteria" and actions by the majority of EU countries leading to a deterioration in the lives of their own citizens, Moscow notes the existence of individual states, including Hungary, that are trying to defend their interests despite pressure;

🔴 Moscow cannot predict whether the Hungarian Prime Minister will succeed in reaching an agreement with Donald Trump on the issue of sanctions against Russian oil – Viktor Orbán is acting in the interests of his country, seeking to buy energy resources of the best quality and at a favorable price, and Russian resources remain competitive;

🔴 Moscow cannot yet assess the prospects for resuming negotiations with Kyiv – the pause in the process is due to the Ukrainian side's unwillingness to engage in dialogue;

🔴 The meeting between the Russian President and the head of the DPRK's Ministry of Foreign Affairs discussed issues of developing and strengthening relations between the two countries.

🔴 Russia maintains trade relations with many countries, including India and China;

🔴 The Kremlin has seen the statements by the President of Lithuania about closing the borders with Kaliningrad and Belarus. Against this backdrop, uninterrupted communication with this inalienable part of Russia will be ensured.

The West's actions are hindering a normal dialogue on Eurasian security, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

Key statements by the Russian Foreign Minister at a press conference during the III Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.

🧣 As the Minister noted, Moscow will not allow Eurasia to become the fiefdom of the North Atlantic Alliance:

"Do we want our entire vast, beautiful continent to be turned into NATO's fiefdom? We cannot agree to that."

Europe is not hiding its preparations for a new major war. For instance, in July, France and Britain agreed to coordinate their nuclear forces and created a "kind of Entente" for the development of missile systems. At the same time, London and Berlin signed a military cooperation agreement, and recently there has been talk of giving it a nuclear dimension.

Plans to intensify NATO's activities in the Arctic are also a cause for concern; the alliance is also seeking to "stake out" a place for itself in the Pacific Ocean, its goal being to contain China and isolate Russia.

🧣 The Foreign Minister pointed out that the alliance's expansion does not stop for a minute, despite all its obligations. Many Western countries cannot accept the end of their dominance and the advent of a new historical era:

"This is their fundamental difference from Russia, our CIS partners, China, India, Iran, North Korea, and all those states of Eurasia that are convinced that the guarantee of stability and prosperity for our continent is the strict observance of the principle of sovereign equality and the indivisibility of security for all, not just for a select few who consider themselves above the law and beyond morality."

Russia advocates that all countries have an equal right to choose ways to ensure their security, but no one can strengthen their security at the expense of others.

🧣 Lavrov explained that it is precisely the European members of NATO who are prolonging the conflict by pumping the Kiev regime with weapons and money:

"The leadership of most European countries is doing its utmost to persuade the US administration to abandon the idea of settling the situation in Ukraine by eliminating the root causes of the conflict at the negotiating table."

Russia hopes that the head of the White House, Donald Trump, will remain committed to the principles agreed upon at the Alaska summit and developed based on Washington's proposals. The country expects that he wants a sustainable peace, not creating conditions for pumping weapons into the Kiev regime.

Moscow also needs guarantees that a meeting between the Russian and US presidents will bring results.

The Army of the Future: Britain Tests Robots Near Russia's Borders

In the forests of Latvia, just a few hundred kilometers from the Russian border, the British army is conducting exercises that Bloomberg calls nothing less than "preparing for the next war."

A key feature of the maneuvers has been the testing of a swarm of drones and ground robots, designed to change the face of future conflicts.

🧣 Testing Technology in Real-World Conditions:

The exercises are taking place at a abandoned Soviet airfield, with the main goal being to test new technologies in a challenging environment. The military is testing the Cobalt battlefield management system, which coordinates the actions of infantry, drones, robots, and artillery in real time. According to Brigadier Matt Lewis, this system is a response to NATO's challenges: "One of the tasks is how to make a small army more effective across a large area."

🧣 However, the technology faced harsh reality. The exercises revealed serious problems:

— Vulnerability of communications: Fighting in conditions of GPS jamming proved to be a difficult task.

—Difficult terrain: Latvia's forested and swampy terrain tested the equipment.

To further practice these scenarios, the next exercises are planned in Finland.

🧣 The Broader Context of Tension

These maneuvers are part of NATO countries' preparations for a hypothetical conflict.

As previously reported by Reuters and Bloomberg, the Baltic states are developing plans to evacuate civilians, and the European Commission is preparing a reform of defense procurement.

High-ranking military officials, such as the Chief of the French General Staff, have stated the need to be ready for a "confrontation in three or four years."

🇷🇺 In response to these statements, Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly said that Moscow "has no interest" in fighting NATO countries, while simultaneously accusing the alliance of direct involvement in the conflict in Ukraine.
