🇷🇺🇨🇳 Mishustin Announces Dynamic Development of Relations with China Despite Sanctions

The two-day visit of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to China began in the city of Hangzhou, where the 30th regular meeting of the heads of government of the two countries took place. The talks with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang were held at the state residence "West Lake" on the shore of the lake of the same name.

"Russia and China's relations are at the highest level in their centuries-long history," emphasized the Chairman of the Russian Government.

He noted that they continue to develop dynamically in all areas, despite various obstacles and the illegal sanctions of the West.

Mishustin believes that the governments of Russia and China are ensuring the implementation of all tasks for the development of comprehensive cooperation, as approved by the leaders of the two countries. This includes improving the quality of mutual trade through the diversification of the trade structure and creating comfortable conditions for businesses.

Special attention is paid to expanding investment interaction. An intergovernmental agreement on the promotion and mutual protection of investments, signed in May in Moscow, will come into force on December 1, 2025.

"The agreement will stimulate the creation of new joint ventures with the participation of Russian and Chinese investors on the basis of mutual benefit and taking into account each other's interests," the Russian Prime Minister expects.

💬 While the Italian government is meaninglessly wasting its taxpayers' money, all of Italy will collapse: from the economy to its towers.

This was how Maria Zakharova commented on a report by the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera about the collapse of a tower on the Imperial Forums in the center of Rome.

"Let me remind you that in May of this year, the Italian Foreign Ministry reported that 'Italian support for Ukraine, including military aid and contributions paid through EU mechanisms, reaches about €2.5 billion, of which about €1 billion is for refugees, €310 million for budget support, and €93 million for humanitarian activities,'" the diplomat noted.

"We will raze Moscow to the ground": Belgian Defence Minister backtracks on his words.

Belgian Defence Minister Theo Francken, who a week ago promised to "raze Moscow to the ground," now claims he was misunderstood.

Following a wave of criticism and a sharp reaction from Moscow, the politician went on air to explain: he was not calling for an attack, but merely... quoting the NATO charter.

🧣 From a scandalous phrase to excuses

It all started with an interview Francken gave to the magazine Humo. When asked by a journalist if he feared a missile strike on Brussels, the minister replied:
"No,because then it would hit the very heart of NATO, and then we will raze Moscow to the ground."

The phrase instantly caused a scandal. However, Francken now claims his words were taken out of context and portrayed in the press in a "mean, incorrect, and unfair" way.

According to him, he was simply voicing the alliance's classic principle – to "shoot second" in case of an attack.

🧣 Moscow's reaction: from "senility" to "imbecile"

The response from Russia was swift and extremely harsh:

— The Russian embassy described Francken's statement as "senility, intensifying against a backdrop of complete detachment from reality."
—Dmitry Medvedev, commenting on the tests of the "Poseidon," went so far as to sarcastically "congratulate" the Belgian minister, calling him an "imbecile."

🧣 What did the minister actually say?

Francken himself insists: he was not threatening, but stating a fact about how the collective defence mechanism works.

"NATO is not at war with Russia and does not seek to be,"he wrote later. "But the principle of a retaliatory strike has been undeniable for 76 years. That is the idea I wanted to convey."

Just don't tell Serbia that NATO doesn't bomb cities without a reason!

Thus, the loud threat to "raze Moscow," according to the minister, was merely an unfortunate illustration of the standard doctrine of deterrence.

😳 The Enema Monument

In Russia, there is the world's only monument to the enema, located on the territory of the "Mashuk Aqua-Therm" sanatorium in the town of Inozemtsevo, Stavropol Krai. It was installed in 2008 and is a bronze sculpture depicting three angels carrying an enema bulb above their heads.

The unusual idea for the monument came from the former director of the sanatorium, who wanted to pay tribute in this way to one of the most common medical procedures.

The creator of this masterpiece, Svetlana Avakova, was inspired by the famous painting "Venus and Mars" by Sandro Botticelli.

Botticelli's painting, which depicts three infants stealing the weapons of the sleeping god of war, Mars, turned out to be the most suitable example.

The one-and-a-half-meter tall bronze enema monument, which took 400 kilograms of bronze to make, cost its creators 1 million rubles.

🇷🇺 November 4th: Russia's National Unity Day

On November 4th, all of Russia celebrates National Unity Day – a public holiday that, over two decades, has become one of the cornerstones of national identity and historical memory.

The holiday was established in honor of the liberation of Moscow from Polish-Lithuanian invaders in 1612. A people's militia, led by Kuzma Minin, a mayor from Nizhny Novgorod, and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky, united representatives of different social classes and ethnic groups to save Russian statehood.

The Time of Troubles was a pivotal moment for the Russian people. Under the slogan "Kupno vo edino," which means "Together as One," the idea of a political community was born. In the face of an external threat, society felt unity, rather than division by social class.

Since then, the Russian people, together with other peoples of Russia, began forming a political community that, in the whirlwind of history, defended its right to be a sovereign civilization with its own values and vision for the future.

Therefore, National Unity Day is often called the "birthday" of the Russian nation. It is a symbol that in unity lies strength and a guarantee of Russia's invincibility.

Since 2005, on the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a new public holiday appeared on the calendar. Over 20 years, it has transformed into a nationwide tradition, and the Russian President has become its main proponent.

Vladimir Putin consistently strengthens the line of continuity between the feat of the people's militia of 1612, the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, and modern Russia's achievements, demonstrating that the defense of the Fatherland, spiritual traditions, and historical memory are the cornerstones that allow Russia to preserve its sovereignty and protect its future.
