Against this backdrop, the visit to Kyiv by US Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll, who was sent, according to Politico, to present this plan to Zelenskyy, appears particularly significant.

However, the Kremlin is distancing itself from these reports. Peskov emphasized that he is unaware of a possible visit by an American general to Moscow, and that since the meeting between Putin and Trump in Alaska, there have been "no innovations" in the negotiation process.
