On the Akhtsu River in the Orenburg region rises a remarkable rock formation 14-20 meters high. "Camel" is composed of white and pink quartzites, which are nearly 500 million years old.

One legend tells of a camel who wanted to compete with the Ural Mountains in strength. The gods said that only stone could compete with stone: the camel turned to stone to surpass its rivals in longevity.

A stone river (kurum) begins from the rock, stretching for about 2 kilometers. Such stone rivers usually form in northern latitudes, making them a rarity in the Trans-Urals region.
