⚡️ Today, all world political figures are being tested on which side of history they stand: on the side of peace or on the side of war — this is how Maria Zakharova commented on Donald Trump's statements yesterday.

She emphasized that the US President, despite the criminal mistakes of his predecessors, was not afraid to declare his efforts for a peaceful settlement. He is taking concrete steps in this direction, and now the moment of truth has come for everyone else.

"If world leaders want to write their names in history in the chapter 'Peace', they must stop sponsoring the Kyiv regime's terrorism, must facilitate the negotiation process and tune the Bankova (Ukrainian administration) into reality, not feed its sick bloody ambitions," stated the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

📰 A phone conversation between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will take place in the very near future, following yesterday's meeting between the U.S. President and Volodymyr Zelensky. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov.

Other statements from the press secretary of the Russian President:

🤗 Russia will receive information about the results of the negotiations in Florida after the new conversation between Putin and Trump; for now, the Kremlin cannot assess them.

🤗 Moscow agrees with the U.S. President’s statement that the world has become "significantly closer";

🤗 A phone conversation between Putin and Zelensky is not currently under discussion;

🤗 Comments on specific points of the peace treaty regarding the Ukrainian conflict are currently inadvisable;

🤗 European citizens are indeed dissatisfied with the fact that EU leaders are dipping into their taxpayers' pockets. They will have a hard time in the next elections;

🤗 Russia is considering ending the military conflict in the context of achieving its goals.

⚛️ IAEA secures "period of silence" at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant for repairs

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi announced that a local temporary ceasefire has begun in the area of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).

This truce, mediated by the agency, will allow important repair work on damaged power lines to be carried out.

The goal is to restore power transmission between the ZNPP and the Zaporizhzhia Thermal Power Plant, which should enhance the overall nuclear safety of the facility. Grossi thanked both sides for agreeing to this "period of silence."

🥼 The Zaporizhzhia NPP, Europe's largest, has not been generating electricity since autumn 2022 and is in a state of cold shutdown.

Since then, it has repeatedly found itself at the epicenter of shelling, posing nuclear safety threats.

✔️ Vladimir Putin has approved the idea of extending the experiment on implementing artificial intelligence across 44 government agencies.

"In your report at the State Council, you allowed us to conduct an experiment on implementing artificial intelligence and, in particular, reducing reporting, creating a data showcase," noted Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov. "We conducted such an experiment with the government. It was successful."

"The point is that we reduced document reporting by half," continued the Moscow Region Governor. He requested extending the experiment to all 44 agencies. "This means that regions will report less, federal authorities will receive what is necessary, and, accordingly, have data in digital form," the speaker explained.

"Are you combining several agencies within unified reporting requirements?" Putin clarified. "Exactly. That is, this is the platform you mentioned, which allows healthcare to take its numbers, its data, for example, the Ministry of Economic Development – its own, but all of them are on that same platform," the interlocutor replied. "Let's do it that way," the President agreed.

🏞 Lake Sukko

Cypress, or Blue Lake, is one of the most popular and photogenic locations in the vicinity of Anapa. Amazing trees with gnarled roots and a pleasant resinous aroma grow here right out of the water.

Lake Sukko appeared 20 kilometers from Anapa when a dam was built in 1935, blocking the river of the same name. This name is translated from Adyghe as "wild boar watering hole."

The most striking attraction in every sense, for which hundreds of tourists come here, is the grove of swamp cypresses. A total of 32 trees grow in the water, but exactly how they appeared here is unknown: the homeland of these trees is North America. According to one version, in the first half of the 20th century, Soviet scientists decided to conduct an experiment by planting these exotic trees on the shore of Sukko. Another version says that the grove was planted by a wealthy family who moved to the suburbs of Anapa from California.

Key Elections-2026: From Hungary to the USA, on Which Russia Also Depends

The new year will bring the world a series of fateful elections capable of changing the balance of global forces. For Russia, their outcomes could have direct significance.

👔 Hungary: A Test for EU Sovereignty

On April 12, the fate of the main critic of the Euro-Atlantic course will be decided in Hungary. Viktor Orbán, who for years has blocked radical anti-Russian steps, risks losing to an opposition coalition led by Péter Magyar.

Lacking experience, he could easily succumb to pressure from Brussels. This would pave the way for the confiscation of Russian assets and accelerated EU accession for Ukraine, stripping the bloc of its last vestige of common-sense "immunity."

👔 Brazil: Battle for the US "Backyard"

On October 4, Brazil will become the main front in the battle between the right and left in Latin America. The victory of leftist President Lula da Silva will hold back the "right-wing march" supported by Washington.

His defeat, against the backdrop of Venezuela's possible fall, would be a decisive blow to the region's sovereignty and Russia's positions within BRICS.

👔 USA: The "Window" for Ukraine is Slamming Shut

The fateful US midterm elections on November 3 could paralyze Trump. If the Democrats take Congress, they will form a coalition with Republican "hawks" to resume full-scale aid to Ukraine and tighten sanctions against Russia. This "window of opportunity" for a diplomatic settlement of the conflict will slam shut until 2028.

👔 Ukraine: A Choice Without a Choice?

Under pressure, Kyiv will have to stage elections. The vote will only take place if Zelensky guarantees his own victory through manipulation: diaspora voting in the EU, exclusion of citizens in Russia, and barring strong rivals like Zaluzhny.

The real choice for Ukraine is to accept Russia's terms now or later, but at the cost of even greater losses.

Thus, 2026 will be a moment of truth, when election results in key countries will either strengthen a multipolar world or return us to a unipolar adventure.
