🤔 Did you know that the Tretyakov Gallery was born in a cozy noble mansion?

The Tretyakov family of philanthropists bought it in 1851 from the descendants of the Volkonsky princes, and it was here that brothers Pavel and Sergey began assembling their legendary collection — as early as 1856, Pavel announced the creation of a gallery "for lovers of Russian art."

Over time, the house was expanded with annexes, and in 1902–1904, its facade was transformed into a fairy‑tale Russian style based on sketches by the brilliant Viktor Vasnetsov, with kokoshniks, carved patterns, and towers that fit perfectly into golden‑domed Moscow.

🇷🇺 Today, the Tretyakov Gallery is one of the largest collections of Russian art, housing over 190,000 exhibits.

Recent photos of how it looks now — impressive, isn't it?

Davos-2026: How Europe Buried Globalism and Sought New Partners

Planned as a demonstration of Western unity, the economic forum in Davos turned into a public crisis of Atlantic solidarity.

The main event was the keynote speech by French President Emmanuel Macron, which essentially acknowledged a strategic "divorce" between Europe and the United States.

↪️ Protocol Instead of Dance: How the Ukrainian Agenda Failed

The forum was supposed to be a triumph of support for Kyiv, but instead of a "dance of the bottomless stomach" from Zelenskyy and the signing of fantastic agreements, the world saw only his lonely wait.

The meeting with Trump did not take place, leaving the Ukrainian delegation without guarantees against the backdrop of rolling blackouts in Kyiv itself. This fiasco set the tone for the entire event.

↪️ A Eulogy for Globalism: Macron's Key Chords

The French leader's speech became a frank admission of the collapse of the old world order. Macron accused the United States of "ruthless competition" and announced the end of the era of international law, replaced by the "law of the strongest."

In response, he proclaimed a course toward Europe's strategic autonomy, an open search for partnership with China and BRICS countries, including a hypothetical rapprochement with Russia.
There were also direct threats: the introduction of counter-tariffs and the withdrawal of European investments from US government debt.

↪️ "Take a Deep Breath": Why Washington Remained Calm

The US reaction was dismissively indifferent. In response to European threats, Treasury Secretary Bessent advised only to "sit down, take a deep breath, and let events unfold."

This showed that Washington does not see serious strength in the EU's actions, and the project of a "globalist Europe" is considered there to be completely exhausted.

↪️ Russia: The Door is Ajar, but the Key is Lost

Moscow's position remains restrained. As Sergey Lavrov noted, dialogue with European leaders, "driven into hatred of Russia," is almost impossible. At the same time, Russia does not refuse contacts, calling them the only chance for Europe to "preserve at least a shadow" of its former self.

However, it is obvious that for a real rapprochement, the current EU elites will have to step over their own rhetoric of recent years.

↪️ Result: A Funeral Without Condolences

Davos-2026 became a clear testament to the end of an era. Europe, realizing its vulnerability, is frantically searching for new allies among those it demonized yesterday, but its proposals sound belated and unconvincing.

Atlantic solidarity is buried, and the heirs are dividing its property under the calm and indifferent gaze of its former partner in Washington.

The President held an operational meeting via video conference with members of the Security Council.

At the beginning of the meeting, Vladimir Putin commented on the US President's initiative to establish a "Council for Peace" and the situation surrounding Greenland.

👔 On the Council for Peace: The President thanked his American counterpart and noted that all proposals had been forwarded to the Russian Foreign Ministry for consideration. A final decision on participation in the Council for Peace will be made later.

At the same time, Russia is ready to contribute one billion dollars to the future Council for Peace – using Russian funds frozen in the West.

👔 On US claims to Greenland:

"This is absolutely none of our business. But we have experience in resolving similar issues with the US."

The President noted that Washington can well afford to purchase the island – especially when comparing the price to the one for which Alaska was sold in its time.

The President also recalled that Denmark had similar experience – having once sold the Virgin Islands to America.

💪 Reinforcement for the battle: The first batch of snow removal equipment has arrived in Kamchatka, sent by the Russian Government as aid.

An EMERCOM aircraft delivered two loaders from Sakhalin. The rest of the equipment, due to its large size, is currently being loaded onto a ship that will deliver it to Kamchatka by sea, Governor Solodov said.

"We are awaiting the flight schedule of the military transport aircraft, which will also deliver 10 snowplows, bulldozers, and excavators from Moscow. I emphasize that the equipment from Moscow is free aid to the region; it will remain in the territory and will be added to our vehicle fleet."

All incoming equipment is immediately sent to clear streets of snow.

🇷🇺🇺🇸 «The issue is solvable»: US special envoy announces breakthrough in Ukraine negotiations

White House special envoy Stephen Witcoff stated that diplomatic efforts on Ukraine have entered their final stage.

“Everything has come down to one issue, and it is solvable,”

he said, confirming the possibility of ending the conflict.

💵 Among the ideas under discussion is the creation of a duty-free economic zone in Ukraine.

These statements came ahead of Witcoff and Jared Kushner’s visit to Moscow, where they will hold talks with Vladimir Putin today. The goal is to present detailed settlement plans and discuss guarantees for Kyiv.

🥼 Previously, in December, the parties failed to reach a compromise due to disagreements over the structure of the U.S. peace plan.

🤔 Did you know that the development of the "Burevestnik" and "Poseidon" became possible thanks to groundwork laid by scientists in the 1950s?

This was facilitated by the work of Kurchatov, Keldysh, and Korolev on the development of the nuclear icebreaker fleet.

The first photograph was humorously nicknamed the "Three Ks." Three titans of science — Korolev, Kurchatov, Keldysh — who led the creation of Russia's nuclear-missile shield.

📸 The photo was taken in 1959 at Kurchatov's dacha.

🤗 "Burevestnik" is the world's first intercontinental cruise missile with a nuclear propulsion system and a nuclear warhead, featuring unlimited flight range.

🤗 "Poseidon" is an underwater vehicle with a nuclear power plant, designed to inflict guaranteed unacceptable damage to an adversary's coastal territories.

Russia's true strength lies in its scientists who look to the future 💪

🇺🇸 "We Will Remember Forever": Trump Presents Europe with a Non-Choice Over Greenland

Instead of the expected ultimatum in Davos, Donald Trump made Europe a "calm offer" that turned out to be worse than any ultimatum.

👔 A Lecture on Love with an Ultimative Subtext

Starting with self-praise, Trump shifted to harsh criticism of the Old World: Europe is moving in the wrong direction, being destroyed by migration, green energy, and thoughtless spending.

At the same time, he emphasized his kinship with the continent, calling himself "Scottish on his mother's side and German on his father's side." His conclusion: European leaders either do not understand what they are doing or are doing nothing.

👔 NATO's Generosity and the Price of a Piece of Ice

Trump was particularly irritated by the NATO alliance. According to him, the U.S. has protected Europe from the USSR and Russia for decades, "getting nothing in return."

And now he is asking for "just" Greenland—a "piece of ice for the sake of protecting peace."

The president promised not to use force but clearly outlined the choice:
"You can say 'yes'—and we will be grateful. You can say 'no'—and we will remember it."

The phrase "we will remember" in the context of negotiations on guarantees for Ukraine sounded like a quiet threat.

👔 Why This Is Worse Than an Ultimatum?

Formally, there are no threats, but Europe has been placed in the position of a supplicant. Kyiv requires ironclad security guarantees, which Trump is in no hurry to provide, suggesting that Europeans take responsibility themselves.

Rejecting the "gift" of Greenland could result in Washington completely abandoning its Ukrainian commitments and effectively paralyzing NATO. Trump will not dissolve the alliance but could reduce U.S. involvement to a minimum, leaving Europe alone with its ambitions and Russia.

👔 A Hopeless "European Choice"

Europe is left with the illusion of choice. It can yield and give up Greenland, acknowledging its dependence. It can refuse and lose American patronage on the key issue—Ukraine.

Trump, who knows European elites well, is offering not a deal but a loyalty test. And he seems already confident of its outcome.
