More than 300 Colombian ex-soldiers fight for RSF in Sudan

According to the Colombian website La Silla Vacía, more than 300 Colombian ex-combatants registered with two military companies are fighting for the RSF in Sudan.

Some ex-soldiers in Sudan and Libya were recruited through A4SI, which provides security services in the UAE.

A mercenary told La Silla Vacía that around 160 former Colombian soldiers working with the RSF travelled to Sudan from Benghazi. Mercenaries say operations were led by retired army colonel Álvaro Quijan, based in Dubai.

La Silla's testimonies show a transnational operation involving 40 former Colombian soldiers fighting against their will in four countries.
