Isar Aerospace Rocket Fails Seconds After Liftoff

German startup Isar Aerospace’s Spectrum rocket failed on its debut launch today.

The vehicle lifted off from Norway’s Andøya Spaceport but suffered a critical vector control issue about 18 seconds into flight, causing engine shutdown and an explosion roughly 40 seconds after liftoff.

Despite the failure, Isar called the mission a “valuable data-gathering step” toward future launches and confirmed its commitment to upcoming missions, including contracts with the Norwegian Space Agency.

The Jaish al-Adl Balochi group has claimed responsibility for an attack on a security convoy in the southeastern Iranian city of Iranshahr.

According to the group, the operation targeted a "Farajah" unit, including two vehicles, in the Wadi Rahmat area of Iranshahr.

Jaish al-Adl claimed that the convoy was involved in training Iranian military personnel and accused it of complicity in recent operations that resulted in the death of a Baluchi family.
