Europe’s Nuclear Talks With Iran End Without Breakthrough

Talks with top European officials failed to bring Iran closer to concessions on its nuclear program, as the Trump administration considers supporting Israeli strikes.

Britain and France backed U.S. demands for Iran to halt nuclear fuel enrichment, increasing pressure on Tehran amid stalled negotiations.

Iranian officials told European mediators they won't meet with a U.S. delegation while Israel continues attacking. Though informed that the U.S. may not control Israeli actions, Europeans agreed to relay Iran’s message to Washington.

In return, Iran said it might consider pausing its strikes on Israel — potentially opening the door to direct talks if both sides halt attacks.
