Zelensky Assassination Plot Foiled in Poland

Ukrainian and Polish intelligence foiled a Russian-backed plot to assassinate President Zelensky at Rzeszów–Jasionka Airport in Poland.

The suspect, Paweł K.—a pro-Soviet ex-Polish soldier—was recruited to kill Zelensky using a sniper or drone.

He was arrested before executing the plan and now faces up to eight years in prison.
