Kremlin has attached great importance to Ukraine throughout history; therefore to preserve its hegemony over Ukraine, Kremlin conducts every means of hybrid warfare. (1/17)

While confidence for Putin in domestic affairs decreases and protests against his administration increase, Kremlin has strengthened oppression in Ukraine. (2/17)

Kremlin directs focus on Ukraine to overcome domestic disputes and to distract public opinion.

These are the different threats that Ukraine faces from Russia: (3/17)

1) Military threat:

a. Around 80.000 Russian troops are stationed over the Ukrainian border.

b. Russia continues to conduct provocative military exercises close to the Ukrainian soil. (4/17)

c. Recently, Russia is getting ready for the Kavkaz-2020 military exercises which would be held in September 2020.

d. 120.000 servicemen, 3000 armored vehicles, 300 aircraft, 250 helicopters, 5 submarines, and 50 naval vessels will be participating in the exercises. (5/17)

e. During the exercises, a possible invasion of a neighboring country by hostile forces will be simulated.

f. Finally, Russia is able to store nuclear weapons in Crimea since 2016. (6/17)

2. Economic Threat:

a. Recently, Kremlin targets Ukrainian companies that have an important share over their national economy. (7/17)

b. In order to abolish Ukrainian share over the global market of military equipment, transportation, and energy, Russia deliberately offers more attractive alternatives to foreign customers. (8/17)

c. Meanwhile, Kremlin is eager to disrupt any possible relation with Ukraine and other international organizations such as the EU and IMF via diplomatic or domestic intervention. (9/17)

d. Russia pursues projects such as “Nord Stream 2”, to cut Ukraine’s share from energy. (10/17)

3. Disinformation:

a. Kremlin utilizes social media to serve provocative news to the international media outlets about Ukraine.

b. On the other hand, Moscow uses social media to make Soviet propaganda and aims to accustom the Ukrainian nation to Russian hegemony. (11/17)

4. Religion:

a. The Russian Orthodox Church is actively used as a soft power by the Putin administration.

b. Via different platforms, the Church curses the Ukrainian government and presents the Russian revisionist foreign policy as a rightful and legitimate cause. (12/17)

5. Regional Differences:

a. By reviving the historical conflicts between Ukraine and its neighboring countries, Russia aims to strand Kyiv. (13/17)

Arnavutluk Cumhurbaşkanı İlir Meta, Arnavutluk ile Türkiye arasında imzalanan mali ve askeri iş birliğini kapsayan protokolü geçtiğimiz pazartesi günü onayladı.

Cumhurbaşkanı Meta: "Bu anlaşma ile askeri amaçlarla hizmet ve mal alımı için mali katkı sağlanmaktadır. Böylece, Arnavutluk Cumhuriyeti Silahlı Kuvvetlerinin birlikte çalışabilirliğinin daha da artmasına etki edilmekte."

Yapılan anlaşmayla %100 milli imkanlarla tasarlanmış ve üretilmiş olan askeri ekipmanların finansal destek ile Arnavutluk'a kazandırılması amaçlanıyor.

Albanian President Ilir Meta approved an implementation protocol for a military cooperation agreement with Turkey on Monday.

"With this agreement, financial contributions are made for the purchase of services and goods for military purposes. Thus, the increase in the interoperability of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania is affected"

The cooperation agreement aims to determine the principles of financial assistance for Albania to buy products that are 100% indigenously made in Turkey and service for military purposes.
