The Bedouins in several areas are sending out desperate cries for help after being subjected to extermination and forced displacement by Israeli-backed Druze militants.

“We are being exterminated… and no one hears us,” said one tribal elder.

“We are human beings—we have land, dignity, and a history that is being erased before our eyes.”

We set a clear policy—demilitarization south of Damascus, from the Golan to Jabal al-Druze, and protection of the Druze.
The Syrian regime violated both. It sent troops south and began massacring Druze. That was unacceptable.

So I ordered the IDF to strike—powerfully. We hit the militias, armored vehicles, and the Syrian Defense Ministry in Damascus. This led to a ceasefire and Syrian forces retreating.

This ceasefire came through strength—not pleas. We’ll continue this policy. No Syrian troops south of Damascus. No harm to the Druze.

President Erdogan stated that Israel’s attacks on Syria are unacceptable and pose a threat to the entire region.

He reaffirmed that Türkiye will continue supporting the Syrian people, as it has done so far.

He also welcomed the ceasefire reached with the Druze community in Syria.

In the call, Syrian President Sharaa thanked President Erdoğan for Türkiye’s support in preserving Syria’s political unity, territorial integrity, and sovereignty.

“Not a single Bedouin left, not one single pig.”
