Security of Ukraine should be ensured, too.

Moscow expects that in European capitals no obstacles will be put up and attempts to disrupt the anticipated progress will not be made.

Putin:

Russia is sincerely interested in putting an end to the Ukrainian conflict.

Putin:

I hope that mutual understanding will bring peace to Ukraine. It is clear that US and Russian business investment has tremendous potential.

Putin:

Talks with Trump were constructive and respectful.

Putin:

Trump says that if he was the President in 2022, there would be no war in Ukraine. I agree with him.

Trump:

There is no deal until there is a deal.

Trump:

We really made some great progress today. I’ve had tough meetings with Putin, but I’ve always had a fantastic relationship with him.

Trump:

Extremely productive meeting — many points were agreed on, with just a few remaining. We didn’t get there yet, but there’s a good chance we will. Just a few points left.

Trump: Thank you Vladimir, I will probably see you again very soon.
