Professor William Schabas, a leading genocide law scholar, calls South Africa’s ICJ case against Israel “the strongest genocide case ever brought.”

He cites Israeli actions in Gaza and statements like Defense Minister Gallant’s order to cut off food and water as “evidence of genocidal intent.”

Netanyahu’s rhetoric portraying Gaza’s population as an “existential threat” is compared to past genocidal incitement.

Schabas warns the US and Germany risk being held legally liable as accomplices, since they supply Israel with weapons and aid. Germany has already been sued by Gaza victims over arms sales.

He stresses: states must “prevent genocide, not enable it.”

Trump & Big Tech Plotting ‘Regime Change in Europe’

Trump and U.S. tech giants like Meta and X are escalating pressure on the EU over its strict digital regulations (DSA) and tech taxes.

After Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg met Trump, the president threatened tariffs and even hinted at pulling U.S. troops from NATO if Europe didn’t soften its rules.

German MEP Alexandra Geese warned:

“They want regime change in Europe, and the DSA is their obstacle.”

EU officials admit they were “bounced” into a trade deal after U.S. threats to abandon security cooperation.

Critics like former commissioner Thierry Breton say Brussels must “push back now or face humiliation.”

Aid Armada Heads to Gaza

The Global Sumud Flotilla, the largest civilian convoy since 2023, has set sail to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza.

Over 50 ships (70 expected) with delegations from 44 countries are carrying food, water, and medical aid.

The flagship left Barcelona on Aug 31 joining others from Italy and Tunisia, aiming to reach Gaza by mid-September.

Organizers, including activists like Greta Thunberg, seek to open a humanitarian corridor amid Gaza’s famine.

Interesting: At Russian MoD briefing, a map behind Russian General Staff Chief Valery Gerasimov showed Russia’s border drawn not along Kherson and Zaporizhzhia (already claimed in the constitution with Donetsk and Luhansk), but further west — including Odesa and Mykolaiv regions inside Russia’s territory.

This depiction effectively cuts Ukraine’s south off and merges Odesa and Mykolaiv with Russia, bordering Kirovohrad and Vinnytsia instead.
