True to its word, and in blatant defiance of the order issued by the International Court of Justice to cease its assault on Rafah immediately, the zionist entity is now bombarding the tent city that surrounds Rafah, home to one and half million refugees who have been forced out of their homes elsewhere in Gaza.

Graphic and horrific images are circulating on social media of mutilated children, who had been sheltering in tents next to an Unrwa centre in an officially-designated ‘safe zone’. This has been entirely enabled by the west’s unqualified support for the genocidaires.

🚨 I recently met a journalist from Gaza. I asked her for a reliable GoFundMe that I can share with you guys. She is a brave soul and set this up to help disabled children in Gaza. It is reliable and legitimate.

Please donate and help them. Thank you 🇵🇸✌️

🚩 119 years ago, on May 28, 1905, the striking workers of Ivanovo-Voznesensk created the Council of Workers' Representatives - the first Council of Workers' Deputies in Russia.

The council appeared during a general strike of workers in Ivanovo-Voznesensk, in which more than 70 thousand people participated. The strikers demanded an 8-hour working day, higher wages, the abolition of fines, the elimination of the factory police, freedom of speech, unions, the press, strikes, the convening of a Constituent Assembly, etc.

The first meeting of the Council was held in the building of the Meshchanskaya Council. Later the meetings were moved to the shore of Talka. The activities of the Council were directed by the Bolsheviks F. Afanasyev and M. Frunze. The council created military squads and an elected court. On June 2, a workers' militia was created, the leader of which was I. N. Utkin. On June 4, she was sent to maintain order in the city and protect factories from strikebreakers. The police were expelled from working-class neighborhoods. Members of the workers' militia were elected at meetings of workers' enterprises. The Council also created a commission for leading strikes, financial and food commissions. To avoid provocations, at the request of the Council, all beer establishments in the city were closed. The council became the body of workers' power in the city: it led the strike, exercised freedom of assembly, speech, and press without permission, established a revolutionary order in the city, and took measures to provide assistance to the strikers and their families.

Characterizing the Soviets as new mass revolutionary organizations of working people, Lenin noted: “...even then the socialists realized that by the organization of these Soviets something great, new and unprecedented in the history of the world revolution was being created. The councils that the people were able to create completely independently are a form of democracy that has no equal in any country.”

“If you get me re-elected, we’re going to set that movement back 25 or 30 years.”

Donald Trump promised to ‘crush’ the pro-Palestine student movement and deport foreign students who participated in anti-genocide protests if re-elected in November, in an address given to a room full of donors.

The choice in the USA: genocide with Joe Biden, or genocide extreme with Donald Trump. No matter who loses the election, the military-industrial complex always wins and the bombs keep falling on some of the poorest people on Earth.

The War in Gaza has become the most expensive in Israel's history

According to Bloomberg's calculations, the total cost of the current escalation until 2025 will be $67.4 billion. In the fourth quarter of 2023, economic output fell by 21.7% year-on-year, according to the Bank of Israel. Defense spending before the war was at a record low of 4.5% of GDP. In Tel Aviv, it is believed that this year it will double to 9%. The country's period of economic growth after two decades is under threat. After the Yom Kippur War in 1973, defense spending also increased, leading to higher national debt and inflation—resulting in what is known as the "lost decade" for Israel. However, at that time, defense spending reached nearly 30% of GDP.

The economy has also changed over the past 50 years. Now, Israel may lose foreign investments in high-tech industries and face an outflow of skilled labor—global corporations will reconsider whether they need Israel. Increased military spending means a reduction or stagnation in spending on healthcare and education, which are Israel's strengths. A prolonged military situation will damage the image of the only democracy in the Middle East. So far, the government has made small spending cuts and introduced new taxes, but it mostly relies on bond sales to cover the growing budget deficit. The sustainability of this strategy is questioned by economists.

Anti Imperialist Action Ireland strongly condemn the British and US Imperialist Air Strikes on Yemen that are reported to have resulted in at least 16 deaths and many many more injuries.

AIA extends our solidarity and support to Ansarallah, its Revolutionary fighters and the Yemeni People.

The imperialist actions against Yemen, are due to the steadfast and unwavering support shown to Palestine, not just in words but through legitimate Military action against Zionism and Imperialism in the Region.

Irish Republicans raise our voices clearly. Hands off Yemen- Victory to the Houthi’s!

Workers must receive the message that P&O and the government are sending them: the capitalist state exists to protect the interests of big business.

It is not a neutral entity: it will always pick a side, and that will never be the side of the working class.
