An interesting article about the upturn in Jordan Henderson's career. It wasn't too long ago he was being lambasted for his move to Saudi Arabia.
Here was the article we wrote on the topic.

The Henderson Controversy
Woke branding , western exceptionalism, big money and a lad from Sunderland I was reluctant to write this article. I struggled to decide if it was worth opening that can of worms! Then I read an ar…

The article highlights the work of a well-established homelessness charity in Liverpool that genuinely cares about supporting vulnerable people. While the charity does its best under difficult circumstances, the piece reveals a lack of understanding about the root causes of homelessness.
The so-called housing crisis is not a natural phenomenon but a manufactured one. The government actively inflates the housing bubble to sustain a highly profitable industry. A quick search reveals that, as of November 2024, 230,006 homes in the UK have been vacant for six months or more. In addition, as of 2021, there are 809,000 second homes. These numbers make it clear: there is no actual housing shortage.
The article also notes that many homeless people suffer from mental health issues or drug addiction. Within a capitalist system, these individuals are deemed unprofitable. Their labour holds little economic value, and their consumer potential is minimal. As such, they are cast aside. Moreover, their existence serves as a cautionary tale to the working class, a grim reminder of the consequences of falling out of the system.
Under capitalism, homelessness persists because there is no incentive to eradicate it. The only genuine solution lies in a planned economy where housing is treated as a fundamental right rather than a commodity for profit.

UK soldiers quitting at record rate - despite pay rise
For the first time ever, there are fewer than two British soldiers per 1,000 citizens according to the latest data, which shows over 15,000 soldiers quitting this year through October alone.
This comes despite the largest pay rise in over two decades - still a miserly 6%, or in real terms just 1.9% for privates - and the government insisting they’ve scrapped “100 outdated policies”.
Recruitment crisis, that rings a bell; how about connoscripting teenagers?

Auto giants Honda, Nissan & Mitsubishi to merge in EV push
Honda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi Motors plan to merge into what would be the world's third-largest carmaker, valued at over $50 billion, by August 2026 to enhance their competitiveness in the electric vehicles (EV) market and slash costs.
However, it would still lag behind Toyota, which produced 11.5 million EVs in 2023, compared to the combined 8 million from Honda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi.
