The Labour Party, whether under Keir Starmer or any other leader, remains a pillar of British capitalism. It exists not as a true vehicle for working-class but as a mechanism to contain and manage it—offering just enough reformist rhetoric (rhetoric that will come true) to maintain legitimacy while ensuring the system remains fundamentally unchanged. It is capitalism’s insurance policy, a party designed to absorb discontent, redirect anger into parliamentary procedure, and prevent the emergence of a truly independent working-class movement.
This is why Labour keeps a handful of mildly left-wing MPs in its ranks. Their presence provides a “lefty lustre,” a way to convince working people that the party still represents them, even as its leadership reassures business and financial elites that nothing will fundamentally change. These left-wing MPs make speeches, propose reforms, and offer a vision of something better, but they are simply neutered pets of the party machine. They serve as pressure valves, allowing workers to believe their struggles are being voiced within the system, even when the system is designed to resist real change.
For the working class, this dynamic is exhausting but familiar. We see wages stagnate, public services crumble, and our lives made harder by policies that serve the wealthy, yet we are told that Labour is our only viable option. The alternative—Tory rule—is always dangled as the greater evil, ensuring that workers remain trapped in a cycle of disappointment and lesser-evilism. The party leadership does not fear the Tories; it fears a working class that stops believing in Labour as its only hope. Their objective is it squash any revolutionary ideas with useless social democratic parties and Trot groups.
Labour’s role is not to overthrow capitalism but to manage its contradictions, to provide a gentler, more humane face to a system that exploits and impoverishes us. And so long as it succeeds in that role, it will remain vital to British capitalism, no matter who wears the leader’s mask.

Happy birthday to Bertolt Brecht, the revolutionary who turned theater into a battlefield against capitalism!

"Art is not a mirror held up to reality but a hammer with which to shape it."
“What is the robbing of a bank compared to the founding of a bank?”
“Those who are against Fascism without being against capitalism, who lament over the barbarism that comes out of barbarism, are like people who wish to eat their veal without slaughtering the calf.”

The Bretton Woods Agreement of 1944 wasn’t about stability—it was about U.S. control. After World War II, American imperialists saw an opportunity to reshape the global financial system in their favor. By making the U.S. dollar the world’s reserve currency—allegedly backed by gold—they forced nations to trade using their money, giving Wall Street and Washington total economic leverage. This was never about rebuilding the world—it was about extracting wealth while ensuring the working class, at home and abroad, remained shackled to American capital.
For decades, the U.S. looted the global economy, printing dollars freely while forcing other nations to exchange real goods and labour for increasingly worthless paper. The contradictions of this scam caught up with them by the late 1960s. With the U.S. waging genocidal imperialist wars in Korea and Vietnam and spending recklessly, gold reserves drained rapidly. European nations, particularly France, saw through the fraud and began demanding real gold in exchange for their dollars. But the U.S. had already spent much of the world’s gold hoarding weapons and fueling its war machine. Rather than admit defeat, Nixon unilaterally ended the gold standard in 1971, defaulting on America’s promises and turning the dollar into a fiat currency backed only by military power.
To maintain control, the U.S. quickly struck a deal with Saudi Arabia, creating the petrodollar system. Oil, the lifeblood of modern industry, would be traded exclusively in dollars, forcing every nation to stockpile U.S. currency or risk being cut off. This move entrenched American financial hegemony, allowing them to continue printing wealth out of thin air while imposing crushing debt and austerity on the rest of the world. The global working class was forced to bear the cost—through inflation, economic crises, and endless wars—all to uphold the parasitic rule of the U.S. capitalist class.

Some people think that socialism can be strengthened by some material harm to people on the basis of a poor life. This is wrong. This is a petty-bourgeois idea of socialism. In fact, socialism can only win on the basis of high labor productivity, higher than under capitalism, on the basis of an abundance of products and all kinds of consumer goods, on the basis of a prosperous and cultured life for all members of society.

In Peoples Korea new economic records were set in multiple industries and the January economic plan fulfilled successfully. Even 50 years ago Scotland was still abuzz with heavy industry but it is all long gone now. Because production is managed for profits, not for the benefit of the people, production was moved away to Asia and other locations so they could pay workers less and increase profits. Scotland has lost almost all of its steel and machine tooling industries, its coal industry, and many other heavy industries. The DPRK has a planned socialist economy and reinvests all surplus labour into its economy and continually improves the lives of its workers. It will never deindustrialise. It will never throw its workers on the dustheap. It will always raise its workers to the highest level of productivity and will never separate them from the beauty of actual production. Workers across the world can learn critical lessons from the DPRK and can be inspired to rebuild industry in their own nations.

Populism is all very fun when you think you're on the right side of the masses, but these out of control US oligarchs should be careful about the demands they raise. What's good for the goose is good for the gander, as the old saying goes.
If state radio should stand on its own without state funding (not quite sure how that even works!), what about private corporations and banks? They are, in fact, the ones that get the lion's share of public money in order to keep them profitable. Where would the world's biggest corporations be today without billions in state subsidies and guaranteed contracts ..?

🇺🇸🇷🇸 BIRN (Balkan Investigative Reporting Network) – NATO’s Propaganda Machine in the Balkans
➡️ Funding:
• $7M+ from USAID, NED, and EU grants in the past decade
• UK Foreign Office & Open Society Foundations (Soros) sponsorships
• Directly collaborates with Western intelligence-linked think tanks
➡️ What they do:
BIRN claims to be an “independent investigative network” but functions as a NATO-backed tool for manipulating narratives in the Balkans, smearing Serbia, and pushing color revolution tactics. Its reporting aligns perfectly with U.S. and EU foreign policy objectives.
➡️ Major Exposures:
1. Targeting Serbia – A NATO-Backed Smear Campaign
• Since Serbia refused to sanction Russia, BIRN has significantly ramped up anti-Serbia propaganda, getting increased Western funding.
• In 2023, BIRN published over 50 articles smearing Vučić’s government, painting it as a Russian puppet while ignoring Western-backed corruption in Kosovo and Montenegro.
• Received €4M in EU grants specifically for “promoting European values” in Serbia—translation: pressuring Serbia into abandoning neutrality and embracing NATO.
➡️ Covering NATO’s Illegal War in Yugoslavia
• BIRN consistently whitewashes NATO’s 1999 bombing campaign, refusing to acknowledge its war crimes, such as:
• The cluster bombing of civilians in Niš
• The bombing of Serbia’s Radio Television headquarters, killing 16 journalists
• The use of depleted uranium, causing a surge in cancer rates
• Instead, BIRN portrays Serbia as the sole aggressor in the Balkan wars while defending NATO’s involvement.
➡️ Kosovo – Propaganda for NATO’s Proxy State
• BIRN is heavily funded by the U.S. and UK governments, which directly back Kosovo’s leadership.
• Refuses to cover ethnic purges of Serbs in Kosovo under Albin Kurti’s government.
• Downplays Kosovo’s NATO-trained paramilitary groups, portraying them as “peacekeepers” while they conduct raids on Serbian villages.
• In 2023, when Serbs in Kosovo were attacked by armed Albanian extremists, BIRN blamed Serbian civilians for “provoking tensions.”
➡️ Montenegro & North Macedonia – Supporting NATO Puppet Regimes
• BIRN played a direct role in Western-backed political shifts in Montenegro and North Macedonia.
• In 2015 & 2019, BIRN helped legitimize U.S.-funded protests in North Macedonia, which ultimately toppled a non-aligned government and installed a NATO-compliant leader.
• Launders EU narratives in Montenegro, labeling any opposition to NATO as “Russian influence.”
➡️ BIRN’s Ties to Western Intelligence & Think Tanks
• Partners with the UK’s Integrity Initiative, a leaked British intelligence project for information warfare.
• Works with the Carnegie Endowment, a U.S. think tank involved in color revolution strategies worldwide.
• Regularly cites “anonymous Western officials” as sources—standard disinformation tactics used to justify NATO interventions.

This one was pretty obvious but we'll include it anyway...
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL)
➡️ Funding:
$129M+ annually from the U.S. government (via USAID & NED).
• In 2019, USAID gave $6M specifically to counter “Russian disinformation” in Central Asia.
• Receives funding via the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM), which is directly controlled by the U.S. government.
➡️ What they do:
RFE/RL operates in former Soviet states, Iran, and China to push anti-government narratives under the guise of “independent journalism.” Its purpose is not journalism but to undermine governments opposed to U.S. foreign policy while ignoring corruption in pro-Western states.
➡️ Major Examples:
1. RFE/RL in Belarus (2020) – Supporting Regime Change
• Actively promoted opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya and framed the 2020 protests as a “democratic revolution.”
• Published over 1,200 articles and videos covering anti-Lukashenko protests while censoring any mention of foreign involvement.
• USAID-backed RFE journalists openly coordinated with Belarusian opposition Telegram channels like NEXTA, which helped organize protests.
➡️ RFE/RL in Russia
• Heavily promoted Alexei Navalny for years, presenting him as a legitimate opposition leader while ignoring his Western funding ties.
• Funded reports linking Putin to the so-called “Panama Papers” in 2016—despite U.S. allies like Ukraine’s Poroshenko appearing in the leaks.
• In 2021, RFE/RL refused to register as a “foreign agent” in Russia, despite being a U.S. government-funded entity.
➡️ RFE/RL in Iran
• Operates under Radio Farda, which spreads pro-Western content and amplifies anti-Iranian protests while ignoring U.S. sanctions’ impact.
• In 2019, RFE/RL repeatedly ran false reports claiming Iran was “collapsing under protests” while downplaying U.S. interference.
• Heavily promotes the exiled MKO (MEK) terrorist group, which is funded by the U.S. and wants regime change in Iran.
➡️ RFE/RL in Ukraine – Running NATO Talking Points
• Since 2014, it has been a major player in anti-Russian propaganda, helping justify U.S. intervention.
• Spread the Snake Island hoax in 2022, claiming Ukrainian soldiers had “heroically died” (later proven false when they surrendered).
• Regularly publishes articles blaming Russia for every Ukrainian failure, while whitewashing Ukrainian government corruption.
➡️ RFE/RL in Kazakhstan
• During the 2022 unrest in Kazakhstan, RFE/RL provided round-the-clock coverage, portraying the protests as a “popular uprising” rather than a foreign-backed coup attempt.
• After Kazakhstan cracked down on USAID-backed NGOs, RFE/RL framed it as an attack on press freedom rather than exposing foreign influence.
