Anti Imperialist Action Ireland asserts that NATO’s puppet, Volodymyr Zelensky is not welcome in Dublin or any part of Ireland.
The warmonger who presides over a NATO puppet regime of Neo Nazis in Kiev, snook into Ireland last night under the cover of darkness and tight security as a guest of the Free State, for a short visit that should be seen as part of NATO’s ongoing drive to subject all of Ireland into the Imperialist Alliance.
Throughout NATO’s proxy war with Russia, Zelensky has been a willing imperialist puppet that has sent hundreds of thousands of people from the Ukraine to their deaths while he and his closest allies have lined their pockets with funds provided by western imperialist as payment for the Ukraine being a NATO semi colony. It should be no surprise then, that as Zelensky touched down in Dublin, a NATO war ship docked in Cork Harbour, and a no drone fly zone has been declared across most of Dublin, as the Imperialists move to protect their asset and the free state continue to allow NATO more and more of a role in Ireland against the wishes of the overwhelming majority of our people. NATO or their proxies have no right to be in any part of Ireland and their presence must be resisted.
Zelensky is a close ally of British imperialism and the British Occupation of Ireland in the 6 counties from where NATO-produced munitions are manufactured and gifted by the British Government to the NATO war effort in the Ukraine. Zelensky is also strongly supportive of the Zionist war occupation and genocide in Palestine, viewing himself and Netanyahu as the champions of NATO’s interests in the East. The free state’s fawning over Zelensky and their support for NATO’s proxy war, firstly against the People of the Donbass and now Russia, is all the more shameful in this light.
The Free State will hold the ‘Presidency’ of the EU from July-December 2026. In the next 12 months the propaganda aimed at getting all of Ireland into NATO will be massively stepped up with non existent threats and enemies highlighted in an attempt to scare the Irish people into accepting a NATO presence in our Country. Zelensky’s visit is as a recruiting sergeant for NATO and he is not welcome. While the semi colony might roll out the red carpet, AIA asserts that the only enemies of the Irish People are British, European and North American Imperialism who exploit our people, occupy and partition our land, and rob our resources. NATO is the greatest threat to the Irish People and our Sovereignty and must be resisted at all costs.

Any talk of an alliance, or “uniting the left”, means working alongside state-run bodies, Trots, pro-NATO liberals and openly anti-communist organisations. It means granting credibility and legitimacy to forces that have done more than most to sabotage the class struggle.
These groups are not a bulwark against reaction — they are one of its breeding grounds. Their confusion, moralism and constant retreat into liberal politics is precisely why British workers are so often pulled towards reactionary rhetoric in the first place.
We should treat these leftists (who are left of Imperialism, not opposed to it) no differently than the reactionaries themselves. Expose them for what they are: vital components of British capitalism, tasked with containing, redirecting and ultimately neutralising class consciousness.

Trump's chest beating of war in Venezuela is a continuation of the US's desire to pillage the country they have struggled to control since the election of Hugo Chavez and continued with current Presidents Nicholas Maduro.
This language should be very familiar as it has been used for over two centuries. It is the modern expression of the Monroe Doctrine.
Announced in 1823, the Monroe Doctrine declared the Americas off-limits to European powers. It was presented to the world as anti-colonial, but in truth it marked the moment the United States claimed the Western Hemisphere as its own sphere of influence. It was not a rejection of empire, only of competing empires. The fact that British naval power initially enforced it was not out of principled beliefs, but because British capital also wanted certain European powers excluded from Latin American markets.
By the early twentieth century, the pretence of restraint was dropped altogether. The Roosevelt Corollary made explicit what had always been implied: the United States claimed the right to intervene militarily anywhere in Latin America to “maintain order” and protect economic interests. From that point on, sovereignty in the Americas existed only insofar as it did not obstruct U.S. capital.
The US history of interference is all there to be seen.
Guatemala in 1954.
Chile in 1973.
Nicaragua throughout the 1980s.
And Cuba that has been under an unrelenting blockade for over 60 years.
Every US administration has attempted to grow their hegemony in the region. Any state that attempted to control its resources, restrict foreign capital, or chart an independent political course was destabilised, sanctioned, overthrown, or strangled economically.
Venezuela sits squarely in this tradition. Its crime is not authoritarianism or human rights abuses, those are media narratives created to construct consent for imperialism. Its crime is asserting national control over oil, resisting foreign ownership, and refusing political subordination to Washington. Sanctions, asset seizures, financial isolation and constant threats of intervention are not anomalies. They are the tools of modern imperial enforcement.
Lenin explained this process with absolute clarity. In Imperialism: The Highest Stage of Capitalism, he describes imperialism as a system defined by monopoly capital, the export of finance capital, and the division of the world into spheres of influence. Formal colonies are no longer required. Control is exercised through debt, sanctions, political pressure, proxy forces and economic warfare.
The Monroe Doctrine was one of the earliest declarations of this system in action. The United States did not oppose imperialism — it wanted in on the action.
Venezuela matters because of oil, strategic positioning, and control of capital.
They care nothing of the Venezuelan people, only the exploitation of a sovereign country.
