🇬🇧💥👶 UK Soldiers 'Shot Toddlers In Their Beds' In Afghanistan

💥According to UK special forces whistleblower, the SAS chain of command failed to stop extrajudicial killings in Afghanistan between 2011-2013, despite having knowledge of it.

💭 The revelation has sparked an inquiry into the matter that has since further revealed that the former director of UK special forces and other senior military officers even tried to cover up concerns over such unlawful killings.

Unions in Bolivia are threatening mass strike action following the US puppet regime of Rodrigo Paz removing all subsidies leading to massive price rises across the board. This follows a tax cut for the richest 1% in Bolivia.

This is what failure looks like. The sad truth is that the MAS years have ended in division, disgrace and surrender in Bolivia by the political leadership.

The Morales years saw undeniable social progress but the fact that the bourgeoisie was left in place meant that them and their US patrons would always be capable of returning.

This is why there is truly no other way, ultimately, to secure the liberation of the masses that the way of Lenin, Stalin, Mao and Castro. Only by completely crushing the bourgeoisie, taking the land and property off the, destroying their political organisations and instituting the dictatorship of the proletariat can any real security be realised for the masses.

The best intentioned of reformists, Allende, Morales etc, will talk about avoiding civil war, playing a long game etc. Well this is where the long game gets you, the return of the most vicious comprador, fascist elements to power following the movement of the Bolivian masses being destroyed by its own leaders. The "Pink Tide" has washed away due to its leaders devotion to bourgeois morality and refusal to crush the compradors even when they had them on the run. Now the masses will suffer for the failure of the leaders. Now there will be mass death as a war is waged upon the workers and peasants. This is what the social democrats fail to understand. A war does not necessarily have to be fought with the death squads bullets and cops baton. It is fought by inflicting starvation, cultivating ignorance and destroying the social fabric of the nation in order that the vampires ball can continue.

The masses of Latin America will learn though but the lessons will be costly. The class war waged by the bosses will answered and the socialist future will be reached but much struggle and much blood will be shed on the way. This is the grim reality.

Merry Christmas to all our class-conscious comrades.

This year has been a strong one for our work. We’ve doubled our reach, expanded our output, and taken a major step forward by producing our own paper.
We’ll continue to provide the clear, uncompromising class analysis that’s needed for the struggle ahead.

Across the beautiful game, supporters are pushing back against ticket prices, access restrictions, and being treated as a problem rather than the foundation of football itself.

What’s being framed as isolated fan complaints is actually something else entirely.

Football has become a class barrier.
Fans are being priced out while clubs, leagues, and FIFA talk only about “revenue growth”.

Supporters are calling for ticket price freezes, while World Cup 2026 pricing is already being labelled scandalous — cheapest seats miles beyond what working-class fans can afford.

When fans protest, they’re policed.
When clubs extract, they’re praised.
Football isn’t being “modernised”.
It’s being financialised — stripped from the class that built it and sold back at a premium.

Since the advent of the Premier League, the English game has been deliberately Americanised. Profit-first models, asset-stripping, franchising logic. That’s why American capital has flooded in, why their so-called “expertise” has been imported, and why our clubs have been bought, leveraged, and hollowed out. The Glaziers at Man United, Hicks and Gillette at Liverpool being the worst examples of capitalist pillaging.

This isn’t a fan issue.
It’s a class issue.

🦌The story behind «Rudolf, the Red-Nosed Reindeer»
—By Bill DeMain, From Performing Songwriter Issue 82, December 2004

As the holiday season of 1938 came to Chicago, Bob May wasn’t feeling much comfort or joy. A 34-year-old ad writer for Montgomery Ward, May was exhausted and nearly broke. His wife, Evelyn, was bedridden, on the losing end of a two-year battle with cancer. This left Bob to look after their four-year old-daughter, Barbara.

One night, Barbara asked her father, “Why isn’t my mommy like everybody else’s mommy?” As he struggled to answer his daughter’s question, Bob remembered the pain of his own childhood. A small, sickly boy, he was constantly picked on and called names. But he wanted to give his daughter hope, and show her that being different was nothing to be ashamed of. More than that, he wanted her to know that he loved her and would always take care of her. So he began to spin a tale about a reindeer with a bright red nose who found a special place on Santa’s team. Barbara loved the story so much that she made her father tell it every night before bedtime. As he did, it grew more elaborate. Because he couldn’t afford to buy his daughter a gift for Christmas, Bob decided to turn the story into a homemade picture book.

In early December, Bob’s wife died. Though he was heartbroken, he kept working on the book for his daughter. A few days before Christmas, he reluctantly attended a company party at Montgomery Ward. His co-workers encouraged him to share the story he’d written. After he read it, there was a standing ovation. Everyone wanted copies of their own. Montgomery Ward bought the rights to the book from their debt-ridden employee. Over the next six years, at Christmas, they gave away six million copies of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer to shoppers. Every major publishing house in the country was making offers to obtain the book. In an incredible display of good will, the head of the department store returned all rights to Bob May. Four years later, Rudolph had made him into a millionaire.

Now remarried with a growing family, May felt blessed by his good fortune. But there was more to come. His brother-in-law, a successful songwriter named Johnny Marks, set the uplifting story to music. The song was pitched to artists from Bing Crosby on down. They all passed. Finally, Marks approached Gene Autry. The cowboy star had scored a holiday hit with “Here Comes Santa Claus” a few years before. Like the others, Autry wasn’t impressed with the song about the misfit reindeer. Marks begged him to give it a second listen. Autry played it for his wife, Ina. She was so touched by the line “They wouldn’t let poor Rudolph play in any reindeer games” that she insisted her husband record the tune.

Within a few years, it had become the second best-selling Christmas song ever, right behind “White Christmas.” Since then, Rudolph has come to life in TV specials, cartoons, movies, toys, games, coloring books, greeting cards and even a Ringling Bros. circus act. The little red-nosed reindeer dreamed up by Bob May and immortalized in song by Johnny Marks has come to symbolize Christmas as much as Santa Claus, evergreen trees and presents. As the last line of the song says, “He’ll go down in history.”

It has been alleged at the ongoing Undercover Policing Inquiry in the UK that a Metropolitan Police spycop unit passed the home address of anti-racist activist Mark Metcalfe to members of the violent far-right group Combat 18 (C18).

Mark Metcalfe testified before the Undercover Policing Inquiry (UCPI) that he was targeted by C18 and that this targeting occurred with the collusion of the Metropolitan Police.

The allegation is that a Special Demonstration Squad (SDS) officer, Mark Jenner (who used the alias "Mark Cassidy"), had access to Metcalfe's personal details and that these details, including his address, were shared with members of the far-right group.

Metcalfe was a prominent anti-racist activist in groups such as Youth Against Racism in Europe and No Platform in the 1990s and 2000s. Police spying on anti-fascist and trade union activists was widespread, and it has been established that Special Branches nationwide illegally provided personal details of political activists to employers' blacklists.

A new year begins.

Long before socialism was made respectable, it was printed in back rooms, passed hand to hand, and read aloud among workers.
Before it was filtered into acceptable forms - parliamentary social democrats, NGO politics, and the endless churn of Trotskyist micro-sects, it was a weapon of class struggle.

That is the lineage we stand in.

The Class Consciousness Project exists to cut through managed dissent, offer a critical look at the armatures of capitalism as they actually function, and root political understanding back in class — not individualism, not fetishism and not the rampant careerism of so many left of imperialism.

In the year ahead we will continue our forthright analysis, expand our reach, and continue to produce material that refuses compromise with the system that exploits us. We will never temper our analysis to suit populist ideals.

Happy New Year from the Class Consciousness Project.

Councils vs Government

Local councils are being blamed for service cuts, closures, and “difficult decisions”, yet they operate under conditions imposed from above. Funding is set by central government. Spending is capped. Borrowing is restricted. Legal duties remain.
They are told to balance budgets while being denied the means to do so.

Let's be clear councils are not passive victims. Many have embraced their role as administrators of decline. Years of careerism, corruption, and political opportunism have hollowed out local government from within. Those who enter this system already understand its limits, but use it as a stepping stone — a credential for better-paid positions elsewhere.

Liverpool is a prime example. Patronage networks, crony contracts, and political self-preservation have flourished spectacularly alongside cuts imposed on working-class communities. Endless investigations. Little to no accountability. The reward for loyal service to capitalism is often immunity from real consequence.

So while councils may not control austerity, they choose how enthusiastically they enforce it.

We’ve seen this before.
In the interwar period, councils were tasked with managing mass unemployment and poverty without the power to resolve either. Central government dictated the terms, but local authorities often went further — disciplining the poor, policing dissent, and protecting their own positions. Those who resisted were crushed. Those who complied built careers.

Today’s Section 114 notices, “efficiency savings”, and service closures are the modern version of the same arrangement. Different language. Same class logic. Central government sets the trap. Local politicians administer it — and many make themselves comfortable doing so.
This is why blaming councils alone is wrong.
But treating them as blameless is just as false.

Local government isn’t simply failing.
It has become a layer of the state staffed largely by careerists whose interests no longer align with the communities they claim to represent.
Austerity is imposed from above.
But it is enforced — often eagerly — from treacherous opportunists who sell out their class.

The United States has launched a brazen act of imperialist aggression against Venezuela, seizing democratically elected President Nicolás Maduro from his home alongside his family under the pretext of “narco-terrorism”. This is not law enforcement. It is regime-change politics by any means, aimed at breaking a sovereign state that refuses to submit and throwing the country open to Western capitalist expansion

We’ve seen this pattern before. Especially in Latin America that the US claims as it's backyard. Sanctions, coups, kidnappings, always dressed up as justice, always ending the same way. The real target is the Venezuelan working class. Our solidarity is, and always will be, with them, against imperialism and against the criminal arrogance of the US state.

The repeated revelations of paedophilia in high places, along with the details of Jeffrey Epstein’s role as an agent for Anglo-American and zionist intelligence agencies have convinced me of this:

- That there is no weird coincidence at play. It is not so much that high office breeds depravity as a predilection for depravity is a precondition for promotion.

- That access to illicit behaviours like drug-fuelled orgies and sex with minors is presented as a perk of high office.

- That those who are not interested in these perks are unlikely to be allowed to achieve the highest level in any public field, whether Hollywood, Fleet Street, Parliament or Church.

- That the existence of a file of compromising material on all those in the public eye is considered as necessary insurance by the ruling class, whose power is more precarious than it looks.

- Essentially, those who go along with this game can ‘enjoy’ the privileges of feeling themselves to be above the law, members of the club etc, and will remain untouchable while engaging in the most disgusting behaviours SO LONG AS THEY NEVER STEP OUT OF LINE.

- But Fleet Street and the police will be mobilised to denigrate and incarcerate any whistleblower the second it looks like they might be going to spill the beans about the true nature of the ruling class, its wars, its lies and its dictatorship.

We should note well in all of this the absolute discipline of the highest media editors in preserving silence for decades regarding well-known degenerates and their heinous crimes. If they are not members of this club themselves, they certainly understand the way the game is played and are willing to play their parts.
