We received information regarding the Vanderburgh County chair Michael Duckworth Sr challenging three candidates because of their support for Lt Governor Micah Beckwith. We have details we will be sharing regarding details once we hear back. We know they are Michael Daughty, Ken Colbert and Cheryl Smith.
All 3 won their elections and are now being challenged to be removed by the 8th District. Here are the facts we know:
It is rules 1-6, 1-7, 1-24 & 1-25. Basically a Republican in bad standing. What is really interesting is Steve Hammer came out publicly and supported the Democrat Mayor Stephanie Terry and is not being challenged. Is this due to him working for Brauns Campaign? Is Braun using his power as Governor candidate to give his employee a free pass? Is Braun using his power to remove public supporters of Micah Beckwith?
We are being told to expect over 100 protesters at the hearing on 6/3 @ 5:15pm at the Foundry on Main in Evansville. This is when the 8th district Republican Party, chaired by Brenda Goff(goff.swi@gmail.com (mailto:goff.swi@gmail.com)) will hear both sides behind closed doors with no media allowed. Why isn't it open to media? Are they expecting to not be fair? Why else would they not show transparency?
Why will they go against the electoral process?
We were asked about another theory. The three candidates being removed are A+ rated by Right to Life Indiana. The party chair, Michael Duckworth Sr., received an F. Does this reflect a shift from State Party as Roe v Wade will be a huge contention of the November election? Is Mike Braun intentionally removing pro-life candidates in support of Republicans with F ratings?
They are attempting to remove these elected officials even after Michael Daughty won his challenge at the local election board using STATE LAW before the election!! So is that why it is a closed door meeting?
Michael Duckworth Sr waived 4 democrats to run in May, with one challenging an incumbent Republican. The candidate waived that beat the long standing incumbent is Amy Canterbury, a Democrat, whose husband was the Treasurer for a Democrat candidate in past.
So why is the Republican 8th district applying rules unequitably? Personal vendetta? Michael Duckworth is being challenged by a group for the party chair. Even after Michael Duckworth St introduced Suzanne Crouch as the next Governor at the Lincoln Day Dinner in Vanderburgh County, he is still receiving support from Braun and State party.
So is Mike Braun spear-heading this witchhunt to ensure Jamie McGuire wins Lt Governor over Micah Beckwith? Is the state party trying to shift away from the core values of Pro Life by removing Pro Life candidates?
We will know Monday at 5:15pm.
We challenge the 8th district chairperson Brenda Goff to open the hearing to allow transparency and media to hear the arguments. We challenge State party officials to answer why this disastrous attack is allowed against Republicans after democrats swept all offices in the city election in 2023 in Evansville.

Look at the Schnucks parade banner; how appropriate!! The Trans Activists are proudly pontificating. A great day of exposure was had by a few inclusive residents.

Beckwith: I would be check and balance on governor
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An insurgent candidate for lieutenant governor told News 8 he would take a more active role than his predecessors if chosen for that office.
Micah Beckwith, a pastor, has been campaigning for the past year to convince delegates to June’s Indiana Republican Party convention to nominate him for lieutenant governor. His campaign, unusual in a state where conventions pick nominees for all statewide offices other than governor, has put him at odds with Mike Braun‘s campaign for governor. The day after he won the primary for governor, Braun announced he was endorsing first-term state Rep. Julie McGuire for the job.
In an interview for Sunday’s “All INdiana Politics,” Beckwith said he wasn’t surprised Braun passed him up. He said he’d long expected the winner of the primary to pick someone closer to the party establishment.
“We suspected that whoever won the nomination was going to typically go the status quo route,” he said. “I do think we’re forcing the question of, who does this office belong to? Does it belong to the governor, or does it belong to the people? And so it’s a good conversation that we’re having all around the state now.”
The lieutenant governor’s primary role is as president of the state Senate, where the holder of that office can cast a vote only to break a tie. Historically, the role has been largely ceremonial, with senators electing a president pro tempore from among their ranks to manage the day-to-day functions of that body. Beckwith said he would take a more active role in setting the Senate’s agenda. He said he would advocate on behalf of legislation he believes advances conservative principles and lobby against anything he believes does not.
“For too long, (legislators) tend to say the lieutenant governor doesn’t have any influence over legislation,” he said. “I don’t buy that. I think anybody can have influence over legislation. I mean, what do you do when you call your senator or your rep?”
The lieutenant governor also serves as the state’s secretary of agriculture and chairs the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority‘s board of directors. Beckwith said he has a background in agriculture that makes him well-suited to the former role. As for the latter, he said he would use the office to push for limitations on purchases of homes by out-of-state corporations and to advocate for property tax relief. He said skyrocketing home values, coupled with rising property taxes, have made home ownership unattainable for many Hoosiers.

School Board membership is an often overlooked but significant office. Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) spends $300 million annually to fulfill its mission of educating children in the community.
School Board members serve four-year terms, and elections for different districts are staggered so that there are always several experienced members on the board.
Three seats will be elected this year: one in District One, representing the southwest side of Evansville, and two in District 3, representing Western Vanderburgh County.

I’m Listening to this video and thinking about Indiana Gubernatorial Governor candidate Mike Braun, attempting to force an inexperienced “yes” woman as his running mate for Lieutenant Governor.

As a member of the Indiana State Republican Party Committee, Noel was among those tasked with selecting a gubernatorial candidate to replace the future vice president on the ballot in 2016. He then went on to lead the campaign for the party’s pick — current Gov. Eric Holcomb — and was appointed to the governor’s transition team after Holcomb’s victory.
