Another official in Warrick County has been arrested. This occurred today, 6/21/2024. It’s involving the Warrick County Health Department.

Marlin Weisheit, 72, of Boonville, was arrested Friday shortly before 3 p.m. and has since bonded out.

Last December, the Warrick County Commissioners publicly appointed him as the interim administrator for the Warrick County Health Department to replace Dr Rick Yeager.

Four days before that, a contract between the Warrick County Commissioners and Weisheit was signed agreeing Weisheit is an independent contractor and is not a representative of Warrick County or a county employee.

Police revealed the current health administrator, Dr Rick Yeager had denied Weisheit the position of Administrator of the Health Department between the new year.

Officials say the current Warrick County Health Administrator, Dr Rick Yeager officially consented to hiring Weisheit in April and the commissioners approved his appointment at a public meeting. This version appears to contradict Dr Rick Yeager and unbeknownst to him, he would have been training his replacement rather than a new Health employee.

According to a press release, Weisheit’s first day of employment with the Warrick County Health Department as a county employee was April 23, 2024, previously he was an independent contractor.

Detectives say the claims for hours worked by Weisheit in January and February were paid in the amount of $9,600 from the health department funds without the knowledge or approval of the current health administrator, Dr. Rick Yeager.

Between April 26 and May 2, Weisheit allegedly used Dr Rick Yeager’s signature stamp without his approval or authority to transfer funds within the health department’s budget to pay a lease agreement with Liberty Concepts, INC, Boonville.

The investigation revealed the health administrator, Dr Rick Yeager would not authorize payments to Liberty from the health department due to the contract being between the commissioners and Liberty Concepts, INC and not the Warrick County Health Department.

After reviewing this investigation, Perry County Special Prosecutor Samantha Hurst filed criminal charges against Weisheit.
He faces charges of Official Misconduct, Level 6 Felony and Conversion Misdemeanor (2 counts).

The Warrick County Health Department during its public meeting on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 appoints a third interim person as the Warrick Health Administrator, Dr. Julie Wohrley.

Allegedly Dr Wohrley has rescinded her interest in being appointed as an interim Health Administrator. Which leaves Warrick officials without the ability to process vital records and perpetuates an employee in limbo regarding his status as an experienced Health administrator.

It appears there is more information regarding the overzealous objective to terminate Dr Rick Yeager’s employment without providing any evidence of his wrongdoing.

The Warrick County Commissioners should provide their executed agreement with the Indiana Health Department regarding the appropriation of Senate Bill 4 Subsidy; this will provide clarity and dispel any misunderstanding to the taxpayer regarding written commitments.

Republican lieutenant governor candidate Micah Beckwith's property tax relief plan is a good one and long overdue.

I see a few letters from the "tax-and-spend" activists already opposing Beckwith's proposal. Seniors over 65 who have lived in Indiana for over a decade and our military veterans who served 10 years deserve tax relief.
Ending property taxes for these two groups is a long overdue "thank you" and well warranted. A third benefit of the proposal is a capped property tax at same level from when home was purchased.

COLBERT COMMENT:

Beckwith is exemplifying leadership in proposing a known problem in Indiana that the majority of Hoosiers understand. The legislative branch refuses to tackle this issue due to those aligned with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation to provide an unlimited supply of revenue to “feed the beast” of unelected representatives; Winnecke included.

Braun really needs to be receiving better advice from his consultants and listen to Hoosiers. He embraced the Black Lives Matter rhetoric, wearing the virtue signaling mask 😷 during the “Plandemic” and running a marginalized candidate for Lieutenant Governor.

The Braun -Beckwith team has tremendous opportunity; Braun needs to listen.

Go Woke, Go Broke: “Conservative” Company’s Shocking DEI Agenda Exposed, Boycott Vowed

In yet another Cracker Barrel-like incident of a supposedly conservative company oddly adopting a woke agenda, Tractor Supply, a conservative-coded company that mainly provides farm and country goods to rural customers, was outed as having a woke, DEI and LGBT agenda. Commenters on a post drawing attention to the bad news vowed a boycott.

Among those who called out Tractor Supply was Jack Posobiec, the editor of Human Events and a noted conservative personality on X. He, in a tweet on June 20th that received nearly 400,000 views, called out the company for the various woke things it has done. Particularly, he called out the various DEI and LGBT things Tractor Supply does.

In the tweet calling out the apparently woke company, Posobiec said, “Under CEO @hallawto, Tractor Supply promotes LGBT training, funds pride and drag events, supports sex changes, and pushes climate activism. Despite their conservative customers, they have a DEI Council, pride decorations, and LGBT events. Consider shopping elsewhere, America”

COLBERT COMMENT: If Tractor Supply is going to survive the “Bud Light” effect, the Board of Directors must fire the CEO and change course immediately. Rural America will not tolerate this nonsense. This will be the end of Tractor Supply if the problem is not remedied.

JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Citibank Flagged for Holding Trillions of Dollars in Derivatives Without Proper Contingency Plans:

US regulators are flagging JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citibank and Goldman Sachs over the banks’ contingency plans for trillions of dollars in derivatives.

The Federal Reserve and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) say the lenders’ so-called “living wills” – which in part detail how banks could safely unwind their derivatives portfolios without requiring government assistance – are inadequate, reports.

For Citigroup specifically, the regulators say shortcomings in the bank’s data management and control systems are corrupting the bank’s calculations on how much liquidity and capital it would need to close derivatives positions in the event of bankruptcy.

The use of derivatives played a central role in the 2008 financial crisis, significantly amplifying systemic risks and triggering widespread losses and instability when the underlying mortgage assets defaulted.

Per Reuters,
“Big banks hold derivatives worth trillions of dollars in notional value and potential changes to how they manage the risk, liquidity or contingent liabilities on those portfolios could be extremely expensive.”

The agency says the banking giants need to “address contingency planning” including how to ensure the lenders can obtain necessary approvals or actions from foreign governments to carry out their resolution plans effectively.
Big banks are required to file living wills due to the Dodd-Frank Act, which passed in the aftermath of 2008.

US regulators are giving the big banks until September to address their shortcomings.

At the Indiana GOP state convention in Indianapolis on Saturday, delegates nominated Micah Beckwith — a pastor and citizen activist who was one of the star speakers at rallies for medical liberty in the state, as their candidate for lieutenant governor — rejecting the candidate that Sen. Mike Braun, the nominee for governor, had chosen as his running mate.
In his barnburner speech just before the vote, Beckwith railed against the Republican leadership’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, telling delegates that he wrote 4,500 letters for people desperately seeking help getting a religious exemption to their employer’s vaccine mandate so they could keep their jobs and told of a couple he knew who were distraught after their small business was declared non-essential by the governor in 2020, saying over the next year they lost everything, including their business and their home, and that at the end of the year the man then took his own life.

More than 40 activists stood with him on the stage, flanking him as he delivered the speech to the 1800 delegates.

When the votes were finally tallied, Beckwith had 891, compared to 828 for Julie McGuire, the state legislator Braun had picked for his lieutenant governor.

In the days and weeks leading up to the convention, delegates were deluged with colorful mailers promoting McGuire as Braun’s pick to be his running mate. Many of the top elected Republicans in the state, including State Treasurer Daniel Elliot and Secretary of State Diego Morales, endorsed her.
But nothing could stop Micah Beckwith, who’d previously run for Congress in the 5th Congressional District and who’d become well known in the state as an outspoken conservative activist who often hosts pro-freedom events at his church, Life Church in Noblesville, north of Indianapolis. He also leads the Hoosier Leadership Series and is the Indiana head of the group U.S. Term Limits.

But it was on the issue of medical liberty that he became known to a wider group of patriots in the state, who were appalled that their so-called “deep red” state had imposed a statewide mask mandate, closed churches, declared tens of thousands of small businesses “non-essential” and pushed the Covid-19 vaccines on babies as young as six months of age.

On June 10, 2021, Micah Beckwith was the first speaker at the Rally for Medical Freedom on the campus of Indiana University — a rally that kicked off a legal fight, led by attorney Jim Bopp, against the university’s outrageous vaccine mandate, which was backed up by threats that student meal cards would be turned off and all student online accounts shut down immediately if they dared show up to school in August not having gotten the Covid vaccine. Faculty and staff of the university were threatened with immediate termination.
In his opening that day, Beckwith talked about God as a God of freedom, leading a prayer asking the crowd to “walk in that freedom and defend that freedom today.”

Later that summer, he gave a rousing speech from the steps of the Statehouse building in Indianapolis, telling the hundreds of people who’d gathered that he would be the “tip of the spear” in the fight for medical freedom.
Beckwith also testified before the Indiana General Assembly on a bill to guarantee that employees in the state could get exemptions from corporate vaccine mandates.

As governor, Mike Braun will be making most of the decisions, but it’s unlikely that Micah Beckwith will stay silent on issues.

On medical liberty, Beckwith has committed to help repeal a law — SB 4 — that seemed to reward the Indiana Department of Health for its disastrous handling of the pandemic by giving the department vast new powers over county health departments and an additional $200 million to enforce a host of new requirements on them.

In a candidate survey he filled out for the group Hoosiers for Medical Liberty, he also committed to ensuring that churches, businesses and citizens are not subject to unconstitutional mandates.
