JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Citibank Flagged for Holding Trillions of Dollars in Derivatives Without Proper Contingency Plans:

US regulators are flagging JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citibank and Goldman Sachs over the banks’ contingency plans for trillions of dollars in derivatives.

The Federal Reserve and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) say the lenders’ so-called “living wills” – which in part detail how banks could safely unwind their derivatives portfolios without requiring government assistance – are inadequate, reports.

For Citigroup specifically, the regulators say shortcomings in the bank’s data management and control systems are corrupting the bank’s calculations on how much liquidity and capital it would need to close derivatives positions in the event of bankruptcy.

The use of derivatives played a central role in the 2008 financial crisis, significantly amplifying systemic risks and triggering widespread losses and instability when the underlying mortgage assets defaulted.

Per Reuters,
“Big banks hold derivatives worth trillions of dollars in notional value and potential changes to how they manage the risk, liquidity or contingent liabilities on those portfolios could be extremely expensive.”

The agency says the banking giants need to “address contingency planning” including how to ensure the lenders can obtain necessary approvals or actions from foreign governments to carry out their resolution plans effectively.
Big banks are required to file living wills due to the Dodd-Frank Act, which passed in the aftermath of 2008.

US regulators are giving the big banks until September to address their shortcomings.

COLBERT COMMENT: US Currency collapse incoming! The BRICS Nations have increased its membership and the tipping points of the Gross National Product is now over 50%. The Federal Reserve is broke and the US is loosing its status as the World Currency.

Do not fear! The Federal Reserve is a privately owned corporation that was founded in 1913 and it is in the final stages of being dismantled.

This is the third time in our US History that Congress allowed for the hijacking of our money 💰 supply and it’s coming to an end this year. Previously President Andrew Jackson took us away from the corrupt money system in 1836.

A new system has been created in the US and backed by precious metals, commodities, and crypto currency. The BRICS Nations have already transitioned into a new monetary system away from the corrupt Federal Reserve.

At the Indiana GOP state convention in Indianapolis on Saturday, delegates nominated Micah Beckwith — a pastor and citizen activist who was one of the star speakers at rallies for medical liberty in the state, as their candidate for lieutenant governor — rejecting the candidate that Sen. Mike Braun, the nominee for governor, had chosen as his running mate.
In his barnburner speech just before the vote, Beckwith railed against the Republican leadership’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, telling delegates that he wrote 4,500 letters for people desperately seeking help getting a religious exemption to their employer’s vaccine mandate so they could keep their jobs and told of a couple he knew who were distraught after their small business was declared non-essential by the governor in 2020, saying over the next year they lost everything, including their business and their home, and that at the end of the year the man then took his own life.

More than 40 activists stood with him on the stage, flanking him as he delivered the speech to the 1800 delegates.

When the votes were finally tallied, Beckwith had 891, compared to 828 for Julie McGuire, the state legislator Braun had picked for his lieutenant governor.

In the days and weeks leading up to the convention, delegates were deluged with colorful mailers promoting McGuire as Braun’s pick to be his running mate. Many of the top elected Republicans in the state, including State Treasurer Daniel Elliot and Secretary of State Diego Morales, endorsed her.
But nothing could stop Micah Beckwith, who’d previously run for Congress in the 5th Congressional District and who’d become well known in the state as an outspoken conservative activist who often hosts pro-freedom events at his church, Life Church in Noblesville, north of Indianapolis. He also leads the Hoosier Leadership Series and is the Indiana head of the group U.S. Term Limits.

But it was on the issue of medical liberty that he became known to a wider group of patriots in the state, who were appalled that their so-called “deep red” state had imposed a statewide mask mandate, closed churches, declared tens of thousands of small businesses “non-essential” and pushed the Covid-19 vaccines on babies as young as six months of age.

On June 10, 2021, Micah Beckwith was the first speaker at the Rally for Medical Freedom on the campus of Indiana University — a rally that kicked off a legal fight, led by attorney Jim Bopp, against the university’s outrageous vaccine mandate, which was backed up by threats that student meal cards would be turned off and all student online accounts shut down immediately if they dared show up to school in August not having gotten the Covid vaccine. Faculty and staff of the university were threatened with immediate termination.
In his opening that day, Beckwith talked about God as a God of freedom, leading a prayer asking the crowd to “walk in that freedom and defend that freedom today.”

Later that summer, he gave a rousing speech from the steps of the Statehouse building in Indianapolis, telling the hundreds of people who’d gathered that he would be the “tip of the spear” in the fight for medical freedom.
Beckwith also testified before the Indiana General Assembly on a bill to guarantee that employees in the state could get exemptions from corporate vaccine mandates.

As governor, Mike Braun will be making most of the decisions, but it’s unlikely that Micah Beckwith will stay silent on issues.

On medical liberty, Beckwith has committed to help repeal a law — SB 4 — that seemed to reward the Indiana Department of Health for its disastrous handling of the pandemic by giving the department vast new powers over county health departments and an additional $200 million to enforce a host of new requirements on them.

In a candidate survey he filled out for the group Hoosiers for Medical Liberty, he also committed to ensuring that churches, businesses and citizens are not subject to unconstitutional mandates.

Senate Bill 4 and Senate Bill 1. Connecting the dots.

Senate Bill 4 was the abdication of the 92 Health Departments to be controlled by Dr Judith Monroe, the CDC Foundation Director and Chairman of the Indiana Health Department. Everyone sees the chaos unfolding with the Warrick County Health Department; this was all approved by the Warrick County Commissioners through their “appointed” Health Commission. It was my actual video on Rumble (Colbertreport) that captured the carnage of the Warrick County Health Board. However, This capitulation is occurring throughout the State of Indiana. I would suggest you follow the “legacy payments” and the agreements between any County Commissions and the Indiana Health Department. Dr Rick Yeager from Warrick County is collateral damage from an inept leadership in Warrick County to usurp the will of the people. Senate Bill 4 continues to be a boondoggle and ongoing government overreach.

Senate Bill 1 is companion legislation with Senate Bill 4, but specifically encompasses “Mental Health”. The poster child for the perceived mental health crisis was Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch. We are all so familiar with her family’s mental instability; she attempted to garner empathy on the campaign trail about her family’s struggles. I would contend Hoosiers “dodged a bullet” avoiding Crouch’s preponderance for bad DNA herself.

Senate Bill 1 author Sen. Michael Crider, R-Greenfield, said the bill was a direct result of a report from the Indiana Behavioral Health Commission that found one in five Hoosiers live with a mental illness each year. Crider, a former law enforcement officer, shared his experience overseeing a security department at a hospital and witnessing the system firsthand. Too often, he said, someone left the hospital after an emergency crisis with just an appointment card to see someone in 30 or 60 days.
“I think the big challenge that we have is capacity; the need is so great,” Crider said.

Yet for every four residents who receive treatment, another goes without. In Indiana, the biggest mental health provider is the criminal justice system.

Annually, the estimated cost to the state for untreated mental illnesses is $4.2 billion, according to the commission’s final report released in September.
“I don’t think that anybody in this room, in this panel has to think very hard to come up with the name of somebody that you know that has either lost their lives or have been deeply impacted by the challenge of mental illness,” Crider said.
That includes Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, who again shared her personal story, detailing her mother’s depression, her brother’s alcoholism and her sister’s suicide.

I would say follow the money!! The funding for “mental health” is being directed to the prison population and the children in the schools. I previously reported on the number of children within VANDERBURGH that have been referred for psychiatric treatment. Crider’s perspective is skewed, he’s in law enforcement and his reality is not of the average experience of a Hoosier.

So the referrals from the prisons and Schools to mental health professionals are rapidly increasing. EVSC personnel are coordinating the referral of students for mental health services. Each child is a statistic which correlates with 💰. I would ask Representative Cindy Ledbetter if her company has seen an uptick in her services? She supported Senate Bill 4 and Senate Bill 1. The taxpayers are funding these mental health services due to fringe politicians creating the problem and creating the solution.

GOP revolution could affect Vanderburgh County, state for years to come

“This
article is lengthy and posted on several sequential pages.” Below is the link to the full article. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

EVANSVILLE — By redirecting the pipeline of candidates for public office, the new breed of conservative activists who say they have the numbers to control the Vanderburgh County GOP could affect local and state government for years to come.
It happens in caucuses of precinct committee members ("PCs") — the same group of which conservatives claim to now have control — to choose someone to serve the remainder of a departing elected officeholder's term. It happens in private meetings of aspiring candidates who want a party chairman's support for a first venture into politics, whether it's in a precinct committee caucus or a primary election before the party's voters.

The list of past and present local Republican officeholders who climbed the political ladder by winning party caucuses somewhere along the way is long and illustrious — Lloyd Winnecke, Vaneta Becker, Suzanne Crouch, Russ Lloyd Jr., and Holli Sullivan among them.
But those are gold-plated members of a once dominant and mostly moderate GOP establishment that has little in common with the new breed, which values fealty to conservative principles over name recognition, fundraising prowess, connections and past involvement in party affairs.

The next few Republican caucus winners could look more like Sean Selby instead.
Selby, a longtime local conservative activist, might have ascended to a reliably Republican seat in the Indiana Legislature in 2021 if the present group of PCs had been in place when he squared off against Tim O'Brien and Alfonso Vidal one night in a church sanctuary.
The men were competing in a caucus of PCs in House District 78 for the right to serve the remainder of Sullivan's two-year term in the Legislature. Sullivan had departed when she was appointed Indiana secretary of state.

WIBC Radio Host Rob Kendall Loses Motion to Add Former Congressional Candidate Gabe Whitley to Defamation Lawsuit

Indianapolis, IN** – In a significant legal development, WIBC radio host Rob Kendall lost a motion to add Congressional candidate Gabe Whitley to his ongoing defamation lawsuit. The lawsuit, originally filed in September 2022, has been a contentious matter, marked by allegations and counterclaims.

On November 2, 2023, the court dismissed Gabe Whitley from the case with prejudice, meaning Whitley cannot be sued again on the same grounds. The dismissal came after Kendall accused Whitley of calling him a "pedo," a claim that court records revealed to be unfounded.

Court record show. Rob Kendall’s attorney’s motion was denied.Photo byMy case

Kendall's lawsuit began under unusual circumstances. His wife allegedly filed a fraudulent complaint against Whitley during Whitley's campaign for Indiana’s 7th District, claiming emotional distress caused by the purported defamation. The court found no evidence supporting these allegations against Whitley.

Representing Kendall in this legal battle was Abdul Hakim Shabazz, a friend of Kendall's who also ran for Mayor of Indianapolis in 2023 but was unsuccessful. Shabazz's involvement in the case has been controversial, as he faces four complaints filed against his law license. Furthermore, Shabazz has also filed a separate defamation lawsuit against Whitley for an article Whitley purportedly did not write, raising further questions about the motivations behind these legal actions.

The dismissal of Whitley from the defamation suit marks another setback for Kendall. The case has drawn public attention due to the high-profile individuals involved and the broader implications for political and media-related defamation claims.

As the legal battles continue, the focus shifts to the credibility and conduct of the parties involved. Kendall and Shabazz's legal strategies and their implications for their professional reputations will be closely watched by the Indianapolis community.

For now, Gabe Whitley can move forward from these accusations, while Kendall and Shabazz must reconsider their approach in pursuing defamation claims. The outcome serves as a reminder of the complexities involved in defamation lawsuits, especially in the charged atmosphere of political campaigns.

U.S. House reps for Indiana collect almost $200,000 in meal and lodging reimbursements

According to a Washington Post database of the 2023 reimbursements, the 328 House of Representatives members who reported reimbursements received $5.8 million under the program. (Getty Images)
Indiana’s nine U.S. House members received a combined $199,332 in reimbursements for lodging, meals and incidentals in 2023 as part of a new program that allows federal lawmakers to recoup expenses without providing receipts.

The U.S. House Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress approved the program in 2022. It is considered an alternative to representatives giving themselves a raise and aims to encourage more people to run for office, according to the committee’s December 2022 report . House members receive a base salary of $174,000.
The committee also said in its report that there should be “reasonable reimbursement limits,” ethics requirements and that the process should be transparent to the public, but did not specify how to achieve these goals.

The reimbursements aim to help representatives cover the costs of living and maintaining households in both their home district and in D.C. However, the program does not require members to keep and submit receipts of the specific expenses, so it is unclear exactly when the expenses occurred and what they covered.

Reimbursements to Indiana’s representatives
According to a Washington Post database of the 2023 reimbursements, the 328 House of Representatives members who reported reimbursements received $5.8 million under the program. Representatives received an average reimbursement around $18,000.

Reimbursements received by Indiana U.S. House of Representatives members
The following nine Indiana U.S. House or Representative members were reimbursed a total of almost $200,000.

Indiana Rep. Jim Baird, R-4th, received the third highest reimbursement — $41,549 — of any member of the House. Most of this reimbursement, $29,875, was allocated for lodging, while the remaining $11,674 covered meals and incidentals.
Baird’s office did not respond to multiple requests for comment on these reimbursements.
Baird spent $9,790 more than the next highest-reimbursed Indiana representative, Republican Larry Bucshon, R-8th, who received a total of $31,759. Bucshon received almost $14,000 more than the typical reimbursement. The next highest Indiana spenders — Republicans Victoria Spartz (R-5th) and Greg Pence (R-6th), and Democrat André Carson (D-7th) —  all received at least $9,000 more than the average reimbursement.

Caroline Ellert, a spokesperson for Carson, said in a statement to the Indiana Capital Chronicle the reimbursement program was a recommendation to “improve and strengthen the House.”
“Congressman Carson continues to support a legislative branch that is effective, efficient, and transparent,” Ellert said.
According to the Post’s database, 107 representatives reported $0 in reimbursements under the program. Rep. Rudy Yakym, R-2nd, received the lowest reimbursement of the Indiana representatives, around $4,000.

Representatives Jim Banks, R-3rd, Erin Houchin, R-9th, and Frank Mrvan, D-1st, also received less than the $18,000 typical reimbursement.
Even though they are not required to submit receipts, representatives can still face criminal prosecution for lying about expenses under the program.

Arrest and resignations shock Warrick County Health Department

WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — It’s been an eventful few days for the Warrick County Health Department, with a resignation and an arrest among their leadership. Emergency meetings were called on Tuesday to hopefully get the department back on track.

With a six to nothing vote, the Warrick County Health Board appointed Dr. James Heinrich as the county’s health officer, the third person to hold the position this month.

This comes after Dr. Julie Wohrley, who took over after the suspension of Dr. Rick Yeager, resigned on Monday after holding the embattled position for just over two weeks, suddenly leaving the department unable to issue vital records like birth and death certificates yet again.

Leigh Ann Holder, vice chair of the Warrick County Health Board, told 44News“[Dr. Wohrley's resignation] was surprising to us, but we completely understand. All the controversy that has happened in the county–that would be very intimidating to someone.”

All this comes on the heels of the arrest of health department administrator and former commissioner Marlin Weisheit on Friday for felony official misconduct.

State police say Weisheit payed himself over $10,000 of the health department’s money, fraudulently using the signature stamp of Dr. Yeager to authorize the payments.

Following the firing of administrator Aaron Franz in December, the county commissioners hired Weisheit as an independent contractor, to be paid by the commissioners, to act as health administrator.
However, Dr. Yeager also picked an administrator and denied Weisheit held the position until April, but state police say Weisheit had been paying himself as though he held the position the whole time, unbeknownst to Dr. Yeager. State police also detail an interaction where Weisheit asked Dr. Yeager to cover up the misconduct, telling him “he could make it all go away.”

Health board officials say they are looking forward to moving past the recent turmoil and getting back to work.

“It’s made everything stagnant for a little while," Holder said "We’ve just been going status quo for quite a while, so now we’re going to be able to start some new things and get some balls rolling in the right direction on helping more citizens of Warrick County.”

After the commissioners approved Heinrich as the new health officer in their emergency meeting, they also said the funds taken from the health department by Weisheit would be returned.

🙋‍♂️ Question. COLBERT COMMENT. The Warrick County Representative, Cindy Ledbetter voted for Senate Bill 4 and Senate Bill 1 which is the catalyst for these changes to health Departments across the State. This is her district, why did she not get involved to assist the Warrick Health Board in resolving this months ago? Literally dead bodies could not be transferred without the issuance of death certificates. I have friends in the mortuary business that communicated their frustration with the inept government running Warrick County. Everyone of them pointing fingers at each other and providing excuses. Dr. Rick Yeager’s removal from his position was poorly executed and adversely affected the quality of life for Warrick residents. The taxpayers must demand an audit by the Indiana State Board of Accounts regarding the Warrick County Health Department. #freespeech

Attorney: Word turned down plea deal from prosecutors; trial to start Wednesday

EVANSVILLE — Prosecutors offered school board member and former restauranteur Amy Word a deal that could have let her walk away from the felony charge against her – and any lesser charge, too – but she turned it down.

Word’s defense attorney, Bob Canada, disclosed the formerly unpublicized offer when he spoke to the Courier & Press ahead of Word’s trial, which is scheduled to begin Wednesday after nearly two years of court wrangling.

In 2022, the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor’s Office formally charged Word, 48, with maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony, after detectives claimed she knew about drug use and dealing at the Franklin Street establishment she formerly operated, Lamasco Bar & Grill.
As a sign of just how embedded the bar was along Franklin Street, the Evansville Police Department filmed a recruitment video there in 2020.

But two years later, a sweeping narcotics operation had Lamasco Bar & Grill − and several other nearby establishments − in its crosshairs and netted the arrests of Word and alleged drug peddlers big and small. But Word is not accused of selling or possessing narcotics herself.

The charge of maintaining a common nuisance alleges that Word allowed Lamasco Bar & Grill to host illegal activity − such as drug selling − with her express knowledge.
Word pleaded not guilty shortly after her arrest on July 30, 2022, and has steadfastly maintained her innocence in social media posts.

In one such public Facebook post, Word wrote that she was “booked and jailed” before police had searched Lamasco Bar & Grill for drugs, and when investigators did execute a search warrant at the bar, Word said they found, "NOT ONE SINGLE DRUG; TRACE OF A DRUG (or) RESIDUE OF A DRUG” on the premises.

The District 3 Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corp. board member has stated she will not run for reelection, and this year Word’s bar opened under a new owner, Charles Mereday.
Meanwhile, detectives maintain that they observed drug sales in Lamasco’s parking lot while Word was present at the bar; that employees and patrons sold and used drugs with Word’s knowledge and that Word partook in drug use at the bar herself – a claim attributed to a “confidential” source, an affidavit states.

According to Vanderburgh County Prosecutor Diana Moers, the state is confident it can meet its burden of proof and convince 12 Sullivan County jurors that Word knowingly and intentionally allowed Lamasco Bar & Grill to become a hub for drugs and crime.

Deputy Prosecuting Attorney James Doyle will try the case, court records state.

Moers told the Courier & Press she could say little publicly about Word’s trial before it begins. But, Moers did say she expects the state will need between two and three days to make its case to jurors.

“We are looking forward to our day in court and have not responded to any of the extrajudicial statements made by the defendant in this matter to ensure no prejudice to the court proceedings,” Moers wrote in a statement to the Courier & Press.

Someone is telling a fib! Hey that’s me volunteering at the Fall Festival. I received lots of “high fives” from the public on my T-Shirt; it resonated!

@dottiethomas72 and I had a great time working the booth with her mom. On a further note, Tried to work the polls at the 2024 Primary, was told no. The detailed text by party officials has been saved documenting the offense.

That “Community Party” renamed by the VANDERBURGH County Republican Party does not want true conservatives infiltrating the Republican Party.. Seems the Republican platform does not apply to the VANDERBURGH establishment.

Too late, we have the majority; change is coming.

No matter the rhetoric, the politicians will continue to be questioned; they should be working for the people, research indicates otherwise. The arrogance is outstanding. Some literally play the role of victimization when written public record access is being requested. For the record the VANDERBURGH County Clerk, the VANDERBURGH County Commission, and the @EVSC1 continue to ignore access to public records via written FOIA requests. What are they hiding? How dare a private taxpayer ask how his money is being spent!

BREAKING: Rep. Tim Burchett says Trump should not just take the heads out of the three-letter federal agencies but “dismantle” them altogether.

👀

EPA vs West Virginia (Commonwealth) case was a major indicator of such an act Donald Trump will eventually perform.

West Virginia v. Environmental Protection Agency, 597 U.S. ___ (2022), was a U.S. Supreme Court case. It asks whether important policies that impact the lives of all Americans, should be made by unelected D.C. bureaucrats or by congress. This SCOTUS decision that ruling by executive agency is no longer acceptable.

So any laws that are on the books that haven't been passed through congress are void. This includes EOs and government agencies "rules".

You all want to know why this went under the radar? Because mainstream media was arbitrarily covering the Depp & Heard Trial. They love finding ways to bury real-info

This latest Supreme Court ruling will allow the demise of the power the EPA. In a landmark case, West Virginia vs. EPA, it was decided that these congress created establishments are not part of the Republic.

This will soon end the FBI, CIA, ATF, DEA, IRS, NIH, CDC, FDA, School Boards and more! So by default this is already done. D. Trump is basically going to finish it off with the announcement.

BREAKING: Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla admitted yesterday that Covid was used as a test, while also saying that he believes that the best days of Pfizer are ahead.

“I truly think that the best days of Pfizer are ahead of us, because Covid was for me was like a rehearsal.”
Congress set up a massive, $178 billion fund in 2020 meant to help mitigate the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on health care providers, known as the Provider Relief Fund.

The Trump and Biden administrations haven’t always been reliable about sending out the money — or sending it on time. But STAT’s new analysis of a Health and Human Services database of the money reveals where it’s flowing and who has received the most so far.

By far, the largest payments were made to the nation’s biggest hospital systems. Fully five of the top 10 recipients of cash were New York City-area hospitals or health systems; together, they received some $3.1 billion. The New York and Presbyterian Hospital (usually styled “NewYork-Presbyterian”) alone brought in $631 million, topped only by the $1.2 billion that went to the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, a group that operates New York City’s sprawling system of public hospitals and clinics.

COLBERT COMMENT:

Jury returns guilty verdict in Amy Word trial

Amy Word, an Evansville school board member and former owner of Lamasco Bar and Grill, was found guilty Friday of maintaining a common nuisance after a three-day trial in Sullivan County.

Word, 48, took a gamble taking her case to trial because according to her attorney, prosecutors had offered to place Word in a pretrial diversion program that could have seen the case against her dismissed.
Vanderburgh County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Ellora Daily confirmed the verdict to the Courier & Press just before 12:30 p.m. A reporter was also on scene at the Sullivan County courthouse, where Word’s trial was held due to extensive media coverage of her case in Evansville.

More: Accused dealer said he sold cocaine at Lamasco with Word's knowledge
Word was charged with the Level 6 felony in July 2022 after detectives claimed she knew about drug use and dealing at Lamasco Bar & Grill, one of several popular bars along Franklin Street in Evansville.

Word's arrest came after a sweeping investigation into alleged drug dealing and use along Franklin Street's nightlife district and specifically at Lamasco Bar & Grill. Investigators claimed that Word knew several men sold cocaine to her bar's patrons and employees on a near-daily basis, effectively turning the bar into a public nuisance and a hub for criminal activity.

"Amy Word, who is still an inactive member of our school board, allowed drug dealers and users alike to proliferate cocaine into the community of Evansville through her bar," Vanderburgh County Prosecutor Diana Moers wrote in a statement. "But no more. The defendant's businesses are no longer in operation and she will no longer be eligible to serve on the school board as a convicted felon."

The Sullivan County jury returned with its verdict, guilty, just after 12:15 p.m. Evansville time on Friday.
Word pleaded not guilty soon after her arrest on July 30, 2022, and maintained her innocence during a two-year slog through the courts. In public Facebook posts, and comments to the media, Word claimed the case against her was unfounded.

State witness tied Word to drug scene at Lamasco
The Courier & Press sought comment from Word's defense attorney, Bob Canada, Friday afternoon but did not receive a response prior to publication of this article. Last week, Canada told the newspaper that Word hoped to "clear her name" at trial.
"The prosecution hinges on a drug dealer who's facing 30 years in prison and is testifying to get lenience," Canada said, referring to the state's key witness, Demario Montez Holman, who testified on Wednesday that he personally sold cocaine to Word and distributed the drug at Lamasco Bar & Grill.

More: What to know about Amy Word's pending criminal trial
Canada said that Word was confident enough in her prospects that she turned down the pretrial diversion offer early on in the legal process.
According to court records, prosecutors extended "use immunity" to Holman in order to secure his testimony at Word's trial, a legal remedy that allows witnesses to incriminate themselves when answering attorneys' questions without fear that their statements will be used against them.

Canada told jurors that Holman was an unreliable witness who had a motive to lie about Word in the hopes that prosecutors offered him leniency in his own Level 2 felony drug case.
“Do you feel that you are being compelled to testify?” Canada asked Holman during a lengthy cross-examination.

“No," Holman replied.
“But during your deposition, you said, 'I mean s--t, I don’t have a choice man,” Canada retorted.
Canada told the Courier & Press on Thursday that Holman's testimony was riddled with inconsistencies. But Holman was steadfast in his claim that he and others sold cocaine at Lamasco Bar & Grill and that Word knew about it.

“I saw it with my own eyes,” Holman told Vanderburgh County Deputy Prosecutor, James Doyle, referring to Word's involvement with a drug scene.

What is AIPAC? How the group uses funding to support the Israel-US relationship

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee, or AIPAC, has moved further into public discourse as the Israel-Hamas war enters its eighth month. AIPAC, whose website lists its core mission as "building bipartisan support for the U.S.-Israel Relationship," is the best-known contingent of PACS and lobbying groups dedicated to maintaining a positive relationship between the United States and Israel.

AIPAC platform includes "supporting security assistance to Israel," "promoting peace," and "countering Iran's aggression and nuclear weapons quest." AIPAC is also known for sponsoring travel of US politicians and aides to Israel.

True to its mission, AIPAC has built strong friendships on both sides of the aisle. Even politicians who clash with each other on issues such as the January 6 insurrection or the existence of climate change find common ground in their support for the group. AIPAC-backed politicians include Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana), House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-Louisiana), House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-New York), and House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-Massachusetts).

AIPAC is a pro-Israel lobbying group that advocates its policies to the legislative and executive branches of the United States.[4] One of several pro-Israel lobbying organizations in the country,[5] it has been called one of the most powerful lobbying groups there.[6]

Here are two known Indiana candidates that are supported by American Israel Public Affairs Committee: MARK MESSMER, ERIN HOUCHIN

The question does Messmer and Houchin have dual citizenship as an American and an Israeli? Don’t know yet….,
