CNN: A second U.S. Navy fighter jet has been lost at sea after slipping off the deck of the USS Harry S. Truman in the Red Sea. The incident occurred during routine operations as the aircraft was being towed in the hangar bay.

One sailor sustained minor injuries, and both the jet and the towing tractor were lost overboard.

This marks the second such incident involving the Truman in recent months. In December, a friendly fire incident resulted in the loss of another F/A-18E/F Super Hornet.

The loss of the aircraft exceeds $60 million.
