Just days before the conclave to elect a new Pope, InfoVaticana has published a detailed report noscriptd “The Prevost Case”, which accuses Cardinal Robert Prevost, Prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops and a leading papal contender, of covering up sexual abuse cases in Peru and the U.S. during his time as Bishop of Chiclayo and as Augustinian superior. Allegations include relocating accused priests without restrictions, failing to open canonical investigations, silencing victims, and retaliating against a canon lawyer defending them.
