Yes, the husband of one of my group members had been on antidepressants. These were withdrawn as soon as he was hospitalised. Sudden withdrawal can cause intense agitation. The man became agitated so they mega-dosed him with Midazolam and morphine and killed him. His wife got to visit him shortly before he was given the final lethal injection. He was naked, chemically restrained and had not been given food or water for 11 days. He died in her arms. He was 54.
