Situation on the frontlines as of the end of the day on July 2nd, 2023
▶️ On the Belarusian, Siverskyi and Bilhorod directions — no changes. Katsap shelling continues in Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions along the border line
▶️ On the Svatove direction — no changes. Localized fighting continues in the Serebryansk forest, and the enemy's attempt to advance from Chervonopopivka to Nevske failed.
▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — fighting continues near Berkhivka and west of Klishchiyivka. No changes on the map.
▶️ On the Avdiivka direction The enemy continues to storm the Avdiivka bulge from the east. The situation in Pervomaisk is stable, the enemy is not running out of steam. The situation at the quarry near Volodymyrivka is unclear.
▶️ On the Berdyansk direction — clashes continue south of Rivnopil.

🚰Preparations have begun in Ukraine for the construction of a 150-kilometer main water supply line

🗯"The project involves the construction of main water supply lines from Karachunivske reservoir to Kryvyi Rih and Southern reservoir, from Marganets to Nikopol, and from Khortytsia (DVS2) to Tomakivka. The water supply will consist of three sections of main water pipeline with a total length of almost 150 km. The implementation of the project will provide water to at least a million people from the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions," says the minister.
💵A number of international partners have been involved in the project, who will handle the procurement and logistics of pipes, high-power pumps. Financing is being provided by the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression, with the government allocating 1.5 billion hryvnias. The project is of the highest priority, however, a tentative completion date has not been announced yet.

🈵 The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is a subregional intergovernmental international organization aimed at various kinds of cooperation between member countries. It includes 8 member countries - India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Pakistan, muscovy, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Today Iran was added to the list, and soon Belarus is expected to join following a memorandum signed between the members.
🌐The countries work together in political, trade-economic, scientific-technical, cultural, educational, energy, transport, environmental, defense, and other areas. However, one thing that stands out is their principles, one of which is very interesting: mutual respect for sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity of states and inviolability of state borders, non-aggression, non-interference in internal affairs, non-use of force or threat of force in international relations, refusal of unilateral military superiority in adjacent areas; (One can't help but think of China and India in their "mutual respect for each other," and Kazakhstan, which barely manages to fend off russian interference.)

▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — the enemy is retreating near Khromove and Berkhivka, but it's too early to talk about specific success. The situation near Berkhivka was significantly delayed in its depiction. Fights for heights 215.7 and 233.3 near Klishchiivka are ongoing.
▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — the enemy continues to storm the Avdiivka arc from the east. North of Opytne, the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade repelled the enemy a month ago and it can already be stated.
▶️ On the Berdyansk direction — no changes.

It mentions that Rafael Mariano Grossi "has not observed any visible signs of mines or explosives." And these very words have been utilized by russian media and propagandists.
🗣"The IAEA announced there are no signs of landmines at the ZNPP" — that's the kind of headline we can see on the internet, which originated from the russian branch of the BILD publication. But let's look at the full version of the Statement on the agency's website.
🚫The Statement talks about the absence of landmines in the accessible areas of the ZNPP, specifically on the cooling pond and the general area of the reactors. Then it notes that IAEA representatives "are not being granted access to the roofs of reactor units 3 and 4, as well as access to parts of the turbine halls and some parts of the cooling system at the station" — these are the very places that the Ukrainian intelligence pointed out and which President Zelensky reported as being mined in his address.
💭 "Right now, our intelligence has information that the russian military has placed objects similar to explosives on the roof of several power units of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Perhaps to simulate a strike on the station. Perhaps they have some other scenario. But in any case, the world sees - and cannot fail to see!" — the president pointed out.
