🚰Preparations have begun in Ukraine for the construction of a 150-kilometer main water supply line
👨This information was shared by the Minister of Infrastructure, Oleksandr Kubrakov, on his Facebook
🗯"The project involves the construction of main water supply lines from Karachunivske reservoir to Kryvyi Rih and Southern reservoir, from Marganets to Nikopol, and from Khortytsia (DVS2) to Tomakivka. The water supply will consist of three sections of main water pipeline with a total length of almost 150 km. The implementation of the project will provide water to at least a million people from the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions," says the minister.
💵A number of international partners have been involved in the project, who will handle the procurement and logistics of pipes, high-power pumps. Financing is being provided by the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression, with the government allocating 1.5 billion hryvnias. The project is of the highest priority, however, a tentative completion date has not been announced yet.

🇮🇷Iran has officially joined the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)
🈵 The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is a subregional intergovernmental international organization aimed at various kinds of cooperation between member countries. It includes 8 member countries - India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Pakistan, muscovy, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Today Iran was added to the list, and soon Belarus is expected to join following a memorandum signed between the members.
🌐The countries work together in political, trade-economic, scientific-technical, cultural, educational, energy, transport, environmental, defense, and other areas. However, one thing that stands out is their principles, one of which is very interesting: mutual respect for sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity of states and inviolability of state borders, non-aggression, non-interference in internal affairs, non-use of force or threat of force in international relations, refusal of unilateral military superiority in adjacent areas; (One can't help but think of China and India in their "mutual respect for each other," and Kazakhstan, which barely manages to fend off russian interference.)
🧐What's critical? A powerful alternative to Western cooperation is being built, which is gaining momentum. Russia is shifting its partnership vector towards Asia, where it has allies in political hatred and competition in the world. In addition, "oppressed" countries are joining, which feel, unfortunately, simply the unfavorable pressure from the West, not real restrictions - this is iran, and soon belarus. The exchange of resources is colossal, the economic capabilities are colossal. While Western partners are passing "resolutions and condemnations," worried about migrants and other unnecessary leftist issues, on the other side a powerful force is being built that can bring something not very good.
🫡Well, we are just killing russians and belarusians and waiting for more weapons, because resolutions and condemnations cannot win the war.

🇪🇺 The Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE has recognized the Russian Federation as a state sponsor of terrorism, and the PMC "Wagner" - a terrorist organization
😎 This news was announced by Yevheniia Kravchuk, a member of the Ukrainian delegation to the OSCE PA, on her Facebook page
💭 "The Final Declaration, which, among other things, states that:
✅ terrorism is one of the greatest threats to international peace and security;
✅ actions of the "Wagner Group" on behalf of the russian government can be fairly characterized as terrorist (highlighting that the president of russia personally acknowledged that the "Wagner Group" was "fully financed" by the state);
✅ OSCE member states must take action against the "Wagner Group" and its affiliated and successor structures, including by declaring them a terrorist organization;
✅ most importantly❗️ – calls on member states to strengthen international norms that clearly recognize: the terrorist nature of the "Wagner Group" and its actions; the responsibility of the russian federation, as the state-sponsor of this terrorist organization; the inadmissibility of involving such entities in international relations.
This wording has been fixed for the first time in an official document of an international organization!" — emphasizes Evgenia Kravchuk.
🙋🏻♂️Earlier, MP Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, as a member of the political committee of the Parliamentary Assembly, spoke out in support of the resolution on recognizing the PMC "Wagner" as a terrorist organization.
💭 "And let the Swiss and not only try to pretend to be neutral, demanding a dialogue with the rapists and killers. Swiss chips in eagles and suicide bombers clearly show the price of this neutrality. The overwhelming majority of countries directly support and do everything for our common victory." — noted Yaroslav.

Situation on the frontlines as of the end of the day on July 4th, 2023
▶️ On the Belarusian, Siverskyi and Bilhorod directions — no changes.
▶️ On the Svatove direction — no changes. Localized fighting continues in Serebryansk forestry. The enemy fired at Andriivka and Novoselivske.
▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — the enemy is retreating near Khromove and Berkhivka, but it's too early to talk about specific success. The situation near Berkhivka was significantly delayed in its depiction. Fights for heights 215.7 and 233.3 near Klishchiivka are ongoing.
▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — the enemy continues to storm the Avdiivka arc from the east. North of Opytne, the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade repelled the enemy a month ago and it can already be stated.
▶️ On the Berdyansk direction — no changes.
▶️ On the Zaporizhzhia direction — fights are ongoing north of Robotyne. Regarding the situation with ZAES (Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant), we recommend adhering to all safety recommendations and being prepared for anything, as the enemy is ready for anything.
▶️ On the Tavria direction — no changes.
🗂 Analytical note. The hottest front line area remains the Bakhmut direction. Defense Forces are successful. In other areas, the enemy is trying to maintain or seize the initiative.
🫡 We want to highlight the successful actions of the🦅
80th Air Assault Brigade and⚡️ 5th Assault Brigade. Also, kudos to the guys from the Motorized Infantry Battalion 🗡 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade.

☢️ The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stated there are no signs of landmines at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) — but there's a "but"
⚠️ On July 5th, a new Statement from the Director General concerning the situation in Ukraine appeared on the agency's website. It mentions that Rafael Mariano Grossi "has not observed any visible signs of mines or explosives." And these very words have been utilized by russian media and propagandists.
🗣"The IAEA announced there are no signs of landmines at the ZNPP" — that's the kind of headline we can see on the internet, which originated from the russian branch of the BILD publication. But let's look at the full version of the Statement on the agency's website.
🚫The Statement talks about the absence of landmines in the accessible areas of the ZNPP, specifically on the cooling pond and the general area of the reactors. Then it notes that IAEA representatives "are not being granted access to the roofs of reactor units 3 and 4, as well as access to parts of the turbine halls and some parts of the cooling system at the station" — these are the very places that the Ukrainian intelligence pointed out and which President Zelensky reported as being mined in his address.
💭 "Right now, our intelligence has information that the russian military has placed objects similar to explosives on the roof of several power units of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Perhaps to simulate a strike on the station. Perhaps they have some other scenario. But in any case, the world sees - and cannot fail to see!" — the president pointed out.
💭 "Given the military tension and increased activity in the region where this large nuclear power plant is located, our experts should be able to verify facts on the ground. Their independent and objective reports will help clarify the current situation on the ground, which is crucial at a time when there are unsubstantiated accusations and counter-accusations," – said Director General Grossi.
❓So how can one detect the fact of mining in areas where there is no access? Grossi did mention the absence of shelling, which the russians are actively shouting about, and the military presence of Moscow on the territory.
💭 "Director General Grossi said that the IAEA team has not reported any recent shelling or explosions, and added that the military presence on the site seems unchanged." — the statement says.
🧐One can have different attitudes towards this organization. We have repeatedly pointed out the "blindness" of its representatives, but one thing remains unchanged — the overflow of russian propaganda does not stop for a moment. We strive to be attentive. The threat remains, so we monitor all relevant information from official representatives of the government and state bodies, in particular, we follow the instructions of the Ministry of Health!

🇭🇺Hungary will continue to block EU funding until sanctions are lifted from OTP Bank and its owners - Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto
💭"Our position is clear: until OTP is removed from this list ('blacklist', - ed.), Hungary will block any EU financial aid in terms of arms supplies," Szijjarto said during a press conference.
🤬In particular, the politician noted that Hungary will not consider further proposals for funding until its conditions are met.
🏦 Let us remind you that the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) of Ukraine added Hungarian OTP Bank to the list of international sponsors of war on May 4, 2023. The management of OTP Bank effectively recognizes the independence of the so-called "lpr" and "dpr", and the bank itself continues to operate in the occupied territories.

Situation on the frontlines as of the end of the day on July 5th, 2023
▶️ On the Belarusian, Siverskyi and Bilhorod directions — no changes. Near the Valuysky district, there is the highest intensity of counter-fire.
▶️ On the Svatove direction — no changes. Local battles continue in the Serebryansk forestry. The enemy fired and unsuccessfully attacked to the north of Novoselivske.
▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — battles continue near heights 215.7 and 233.3 near Klishchiivka. The enemy is still sitting in the village itself. The Defense Forces are attempting to improve their tactical position near Berkhivka, the result is unknown.
▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — 110th Mechanized Brigade caught some prisoners, maintaining its status of Avdiivka kings. The enemy continues to press on the brigade's positions to the east of Avdiivka. Battles continue near Pervomaiske and Nevelske.
▶️ On the Berdyansk direction — також й 35th Marine Brigade caught some prisoners, presumably in the area of Makarivka.
▶️ On the Zaporizhzhia direction — battles continue to the north of Robotyne. Katsaps are trying to deal counter-strikes. Defense Forces' positions in Pyatikhatky are subjected to constant artillery fire, which is confirmed by the videos that enemy channels publish every day. At the same time, they continue to claim that there are no Ukrainian forces in the village. Then who are they shooting at?!
▶️ On the Tavria direction — no changes. The situation in Dachi requires clarification.
🗂 Analytical note. Fighting continues in many parts of the frontline. The enemy is bringing into action resources accumulated in June. Over the past two months, the Azov (3rd Assault Brigade and attached units) and Adam (80th Air Assault Brigade and 5th Assault Brigade) tactical groups have been doing titanic work on the right flank of Bakhmut.

🇺🇦🇧🇬President Zelenskyy has visited Bulgaria
💭 "Today, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and I had very substantive talks. The whole complex of our relations - and, of course, primarily security. Thank you for the defense aid!" - stated on the President's channel
🤝The discussion included topics of energy cooperation, interaction in the field of European and Euro-Atlantic integration. The most important step was the signing of a joint declaration, which confirms Bulgaria's support for our Euro-Atlantic integration.
🔖Accordingly, Bulgaria becomes the 22nd country to sign such a document and support Ukraine's accession to NATO.
💭 "The clear majority in Europe is for common security. <...> Thank you, Bulgaria, for supporting the protection of the lives and freedoms of our people! Thank you, Mr. Prime Minister, as well as Madam Deputy Prime Minister, the entire government and parliament of Bulgaria for the moral strength of your decisions, for honestly recognizing reality and existing threats." - said Zelenskyy.

🔹 The presidents of Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland have sent a joint letter to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg expressing their concern about the events in Belarus
✍️ In the letter, the three leaders state that the cooperation between Moscow and Minsk undermines the security of the region and the entire Euro-Atlantic area. They also note that Moscow is using the territory of Belarus and its resources for an illegal and brutal aggressive war against Ukraine, indicating an increasingly close military integration between the two countries.
💭 "The latest manifestation of this is the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus. This is an escalation in the context of the war in Ukraine and a direct threat to the security of our community. This is another blatant violation of the NATO-Russia Founding Act and a vivid proof that this document is no longer valid <...> The relocation of Russian mercenaries from the Wagner Group and their leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, to Belarus will create risks for political stability in Belarus and, as a result, potential loss of control over conventional and nuclear weapons," the letter from the presidents of Lithuania, Poland, and Latvia states.
🤔 In particular, the presidents have proposed a list of actions that, in their opinion, could help improve the situation:
🇧🇾 "The actions we propose will not only enhance the security of our allies but also correspond to the democratic aspirations of the Belarusian people. Our course of action should include: 1) a review of nuclear deterrence and its adaptation to new realities, 2) inclusion of conventional threats originating from Belarus in military adaptation, 3) replenishment of military stockpiles on the eastern flank, 4) an increase in defense spending beyond 2% of GDP and aligning it with NATO priorities, and 5) enhancing the resilience of allies to hybrid threats."
