Situation on the frontlines as of the end of the day on August 7, 2023

▶️ On the Belarusian, Siverskyi and Bilhorod directions — no changes.

▶️ On the Svatove direction — the katsaps successfully captured most of Novoselivske. Fights continue near Vilshana, Novoyehorivka, and in the Serebryansk forestry.

💬 As one of the fighters in the area writes: "Regarding the Kupyansk area. The enemy has brought in fresh troops and a considerable number of assault units. They attack on foot through fields and forest belts, facilitated by high grass. Our numbers do not allow us to securely cover every meter, so the enemy's tactics sometimes allow them to envelop and bypass our observation points and positions. We have virtually no platoon/company strong points.
But their forces get tired very quickly; for example, at least three assault companies were lying in a forest belt about one and a half kilometers long. The willingness of the ruzzians to die so willingly is amazing.
They trudge 2 kilometers on foot through plantations just to jump on a machine gun and die in two seconds - this is the real life story of a ruzzian stormtrooper. The main thing is that he is being shot at with cluster munitions, high explosives and flying mines to kill him. He keeps going to reach the trench and jump in."

▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — no changes. Fights continue along the Klishchiivka-Kurdyumivka line.

▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — katsaps attempted to advance from Kruta Balka again but were unsuccessful.

▶️ On the Berdyansk direction — fighting continues near Pryyutne and for Urozhayne.

▶️ On the Zaporizhzhia direction — clashes continue near Robotyne and Verbove. The combat contact line has been clarified, but these changes are conditional. The situation in that area is very dynamic. If in the morning a forest belt was ours, by noon it might be under the enemy and so on.

▶️ On the Tavria direction — no changes. The Military Intelligence Agency and the "Stugna" unit published photos and videos of a recent successful raid in the Left Bank area of Kherson region.

🗂 Analytical note. Despite the calm on the information front, many areas of the frontline are very challenging. It's likely one of the toughest periods for the Defense Forces during this full-scale war. A heavy battle of attrition against the enemy continues.

📍 Katsaps regain control of Novoselivske

🏚 The village is completely destroyed and has changed hands more than once. In recent weeks, the enemy has significantly increased its pressure, managing to occupy Kuzemivka station and the landings above Zhabyn Yar. It was here that an epic battle involving the Predator once took place.

🇵🇱An additional thousand soldiers will be sent to the border of Poland

👤On Sunday, the head of the country's border guard service asked the Ministry of National Defense to allocate more people to help his agency due to the growing number of provocations by potato growers from the east.

👷Already, 2,000 soldiers and hundreds of vehicles are helping the border guards. The Defense Ministry has agreed to send another thousand to reinforce them. The complex of measures is called Operation «Safe Podlasie».

🚁Also, at the beginning of the month, after the incident with the Belarus helicopters, helicopters of two Polish brigades were redeployed to the border «in immediate response mode», with pilots who have experience in combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

▶️ On the Svatove direction — the enemy pushes from the Lyman Pershyi and Vilshany. Claims about the f**kers entering Synkivka are not true. There's an increase in the enemy's artillery and aviation activities, posing a threat not only to the military but also to civilians, so we recommend that residents of the eastern bank of the Oskol heed the advice of the Military and Civil Defense Center regarding evacuation.

▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — no changes. Fights continue along the Klishchiivka-Kurdyumivka line.

▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — the combat contact line has been clarified. The enemy is currently focusing on reserve accumulation since their current forces are insufficient for wide-front engagements.
