Israeli Sources have now confirmed that Senior Hezbollah Leader, Ibrahim Aqil was indeed the Target of the Airstrike on the Suburbs of Beirut.

Israeli Chief of General Staff, Herzi Halevi met earlier today with the Commander of IDF Northern Command, Major General Ori Gordin and other Senior Military Officers and Commanders of Division in the North.

Ibrahim Aqil was believed to have been Promoted to the Chief of Staff for Hezbollah following the Assassination of Fuad Shukr in Late July, with him having Overseen all recent Military Operations conducted by the Terrorist Organization.

A Hezbollah Official has told AFP that Ibrahim Aqil, the Second-in-Command of Hezbollah’s Military Forces and the Commander of the Elite “Radwan Force” was Killed in today’s Israeli Airstrike on the Suburbs of Beirut.

The Target of today’s Israeli Airstrike on the Suburbs of Beirut, Ibrahim Aqil has been Wanted by the U.S. State Department for Decades due to his involvement with the Islamic Jihad Organization which eventually became Hezbollah, with him believed to have assisted in the Planning and Execution of the 1983 Beirut Barracks Bombing which Killed 307 including 241 U.S. Servicemembers, the 1983 U.S. Embassy Bombing in Beirut which resulted in the Death of 32 including 17 Americans, as well as another U.S. Embassy Bombing in 1984 which Killed 23 including 2 Americans.

Today is the 40th Anniversary of the 1984 U.S. Embassy Bombing in Beirut.

The Iron Dome is busy over Northeastern Israel, with multiple Interceptions being seen near the City of Safed.

The White House states that U.S. Officials were not notified by Israel prior to today’s Strike on the Lebanese Capital of Beirut.

According to Axios; Israel did not inform the United States prior to the Assassination Strike earlier on Suburbs of Beirut, but that U.S. Officials were Immediately Briefed following its Execution.

Nearly a Dozen Interceptions over the City of Safed in Northern Israel, following the latest Hezbollah Rocket Barrage.

Roughly 20-30 Rockets were launched in the last Barrage against Northern Israel.

Magen David Adom (MDA) Ambulance Service has raised its Alert Status to Level 4, its Highest Alert Level.

According to Axios; Senior Israeli Officials have decided to recent days that a Diplomatic Solution in the North would not be achievable without Significant Escalation against Hezbollah, stating “This is why we have been gradually taking our Gloves-Off and Increasing our Attacks against Hezbollah.”

The White House states that they still do not believe a Full-Scale War between Israel and Hezbollah is Inevitable.

Today’s Israeli Airstrike on the Suburbs of Beirut is believed to have Eliminated not just Ibrahim Aqil, but also several other Members of Hezbollah’s Elite “Radwan Force” while they were holding a Meeting with Aqil in a High-Rise Residential Building.
