Helicopters with the Royal Danish Air Force are reportedly airborne now over North Jutland, aboard are specially trained soldiers to track and possibly down the unknown drones currently flying over Aalborg Airport in Northern Denmark.

The National Police of Denmark have stated that unknown drones are now being spotted in several other areas across the country, with drones being reported over both Esbjerg and Sønderborg in Southern Denmark, near the border with Germany.

Footage claimed to show one of the unknown drones currently flying over Aalborg Airport in Northern Denmark, with police and observers stating that the drones appear to be similar to the ones seen earlier this week over Copenhagen.

Danish National Police have now confirmed additional drone sightings over Southern Denmark, with drones having been sighted near the airports of Esbjerg, Sønderborg, and Skrydstrup, in addition to Aalborg Airport in North Jutland.

Denmark’s National Police Commissioner has stated that in response to several ongoing drone sightings tonight across the country, a “state of emergency” may be raised in Denmark.

An alert has been declared at Skrydstrup Air Base in Southern Denmark, which houses the Royal Danish Air Force’s fleet of F-16AMs and F-35A Lightning II.

Danish National Police state that they have now verified drone activity around both Esbjerg and Sønderborg Airport, as well as Skrydstrup Air Base in Southern Denmark. Authorities are working to track and neutralize the drones, with an alert having been declared by the Royal Danish Air Force.

New footage published by U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) from aerial and amphibious-landing exercises that took place early September in Southern Puerto Rico, carried out by Marines and Sailors with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (22nd MEU), attached to the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), currently deployed to the Southern Caribbean Sea.

A U.S. Air Force KC-135R “Stratotanker” Aerial-Refueling Tanker from Eielson Air Force Base, likely towing fighter jets, is currently doing circles over the Seward Peninsula in Alaska, near the Bearing Strait. Could be in response to another violation of the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) by Russia, the last intrusion and interception was of a Russian Il-20M on August 26.

Video footage published earlier this week by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, showing a drone attack against Kacha Airfield in Russian-occupied Crimea, resulting in the destruction of an Mi-8 “Hip” Transport Helicopter as well as a pair of extremely rare Be-12 “Chayka” Turboprop-Powered Amphibious Maritime Patrol Aircraft operated by the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s Naval Aviation.

Confirmed, the KC-135 and an E-3, alongside an unknown number of fighter jets, were scrambled this evening due to unknown aircraft(s), likely Russian, operating in or near the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).

Lindsey Halligan, President Trump’s pick last week to serve as Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia and who previously worked as a lawyer on Trump’s legal team between his first and second term, is expected to ask a grand jury in the coming days to indict Former FBI Director James Comey for allegedly lying to Congress, despite protestors and investigators at the Department of Justice determining there was insufficient evidence to charge him, according to ABC News. 

Earlier this week, prosecutors presented Halligan — who only began serving as Acting Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia last week after the previous nominee reportedly was removed or quit due to pressure from President Trump, who is demanding charges be brought against several of his political opponents, including Sen. Adam Schiff and New York Attorney General Letitia James — with a detailed memo recommending that she decline to bring perjury and obstruction charges against Comey.

A monthslong investigation into Comey by Attorney General Pam Bondi and prosecutors at the Justice Department failed to establish probable cause of a crime — meaning that not only would they be unable to secure a conviction of Comey by proving the claims beyond a reasonable doubt, but that they couldn’t reach a significantly lower standard to secure an indictment.

The memo from prosecutors appears to have been totally ignored by Halligan, who despite their recommendations, plans to present evidence to a grand jury before the statute of limitations for the alleged offense by Comey expires next week, sources told ABC.

The Ukrainian General Staff is reporting that a Russian Su-34 “Fullback” Medium-Range Tactical Bomber was downed this morning near the frontline in Eastern Ukraine, while attempting to carrying out strikes against the city of Zaporizhzhia.

Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen has stated that Denmark is considering invoking NATO Article 4 following recent drone intrusion over airports and airbases in the country, which officials state was an “attack” carried out by a “professional actor” against Denmark. This would be the third request of consultations under NATO Article 4 in the last two weeks, due to potential hostile actions by Russia.

Prior to both Estonia and Poland, and now possibly Denmark, invoking NATO Article 4 this month, the last time that a member of the alliance requested consultations under Article 4 was at the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
