The D.C. National Guard alongside the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced that F-16 Multirole Fighters launched from Joint-Base Andrews earlier today were “Authorized to go Super-Sonic,” causing a Sonic Boom to be heard over the D.C. Metropolitan Region, in order to Intercept a Cessna Citation Business-Jet (N611VG) that they had Lost Contact with while Flying in an “Erratic Manner” and had entered the No-Fly Zone over the National Capital near the White House and Capitol Building; the Aircraft which was on a Flightpath from Elizabethan, Tennessee to Long Island, New York has since Crashed in Southwestern Virginia. It is not yet know how many Passengers were on-board the Aircraft or if there are any Survivors though Emergency Crews are on-scene.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that they believe a Major Offensive Operation by the Ukrainian Armed Forces has begun with Battles and Ukrainian Advances from the 23rd and 31st Separate-Mechanized Brigades of the Ukrainian Ground Force being reported earlier today in 5-Sectors along the Front specifically near the Town of Novodarivka in the Zaporizhia Region and the Town of Neskuchne in the Southern Dontesk Region. In response the these Advances, Units from the Russian Eastern Military District are said to have conducted a Counter-Offensive along the Front during which the Towns were Recaptured and it is claimed that 250 Soldiers of the Ukrainian Military were Killed alongside 16 Tanks, 3 IFVs, and 21 AFVs.
According to Russian Sources, Chief of General Staff for the Russian Armed Forces, General Valery Gerasimov was at a “Forward-Command Center” near the Donetsk and Zaporizhia Regions earlier today when the Ukrainian Offensive began and was able to assist in directing Defensive and Counter-Offensive Operations.
An Element of the 65th Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Turkish Army began arriving yesterday in Northern Kosovo after it was announced by the Turkish Ministry of Defense on Saturday that a “Commando Battalion” would be Deployed on a Peacekeeping Operation to the Country at the request of NATO-Allied Command; this request came after over 30 NATO Peacekeepers were Injured last week some Severely while assisting Kosovo Police and Security Forces with Civil Unrest in the North of the Country.
A Large Pro-Serbian Rally is taking place today near the Administrative Building for the Town of Zvečan in Northern Kosovo; during the Rally a Kosovo Police Car that was trying to “Pass Through” was forced to Withdraw back behind the Barricades of NATO Peacekeepers from the U.S. Army’s 76th Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the Indiana National Guard.
At the same time this was occurring, Polish and Greek Peacekeepers were Signing T-Shirts and Dancing with Serbian Children in the City Center who were Celebrating their recent Graduation from High School while also taking part in the Rally.
Russian Sources are reporting that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an Offensive Operation earlier today along the Vuhledar Front utilizing Mechanized Infantry and what initially was claimed to be Leopard 2 Tanks but now appears to have actually been French AMX-10 RC Wheeled-Tank Destroyers; during the Fighting it’s claimed that Forces from the 37th Naval Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Navy managed to Recapture the Town of Novodonetske though Rybar stated they “Suffered Heavy Losses” including 9 AMX-10s.
Russian Accounts have released these 2 Photos so far which appear to Confirm that at least 3 AMX-10s were either Destroyed and/or Abandoned by Ukrainian Forces during the Fighting at some point recently.
Several Large Explosions heard over the Ukrainian Capital of Kyiv, reports of Air Defenses being Active over the City.
The Russian Ministry of Defense is claiming that the Offensive earlier today against the Town of Novodonetske in the Donetsk Region by the 37th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Navy was “Massively Defeated” with the Brigade suffering Significant Losses including 1,500 Servicemen, 28 Tanks with 8 being German-Produced Leopard 2s, 3 French-Produced AMX-10 RC Wheeled-Tank Destroyers, and 109 other Armored Fighting Vehicles.
