The U.S. Department of Defense has announced that a High-Altitude Balloon from an “Unknown Country” was recently Detected in the Airspace over the Hawaiian Islands with it currently heading in the direction of the U.S. West Coast.
The Balloon has been Tracked by the U.S. Military since late last week and does not currently pose a Threat to National Security or Commercial Air Traffic; although it is being considered whether it should be Shot Down before it reaches the U.S. Mainland.

The High-Altitude Balloon which is currently heading towards the Western Coast of the United States was reportedly spotted by Military Radar on Friday off to the Northwest of the Hawaiian Islands resulting in the “Scramble” of 3 U.S. Air Force F-22s from Hickam Air Force Base.
The F-22s then Intercepted the “Unknown Signature” to assess the Situation of which they determined the Object was a High-Altitude Balloon without any kind of Identifying Symbols or Writing and that did not appear to have any Electronic Equipment onboard.
