North Korean technical advisers and troops have been spotted in Russian occupied areas of Ukraine, including Mariupol and the Kharkiv Region. In Mariupol, their exact role is unclear, but they were seen wearing Russian uniforms. In the Kharkiv Region, Ukrainian military officials have confirmed the presence of North Korean troops based on radio intercepts. Another official reported that North Korean units are already active in the region. These developments point to an expanding North Korean presence alongside Russian forces in Ukraine.

Preliminary casualties after the Beirut strikes: 4 killed, 23 wounded

Channel 14 News and Al Hadath are reporting that a senior Hezbollah decision-maker was the target of tonight’s strikes in central Beirut. Al Hadath has since reported that the strike targeted Hezbollah’s intelligence chief, Talal Hamieh. Hamieh, became COO of Hezbollah’s clandestine operations arm (Unit 910) after he was previously targeted in a strike on the 24th of September.
As of right now, it’s not yet confirmed that he was the target of the strike.

IDF statement on a number of strikes, conducted in waves, throughout the day that targeted headquarters facilities, weapons warehouse, and production sites. No word on the later strikes conducted in Central Beirut that are thought to have targeted a key Hezbollah decision-maker.

Israeli officials have now told Kann News that the actual target of the strikes that utilized at least 5 bunker buster bombs was actually another senior Hezbollah official Muhammad Haider. Haider, rose fast when the command structure of the group was gutted by a systematic Israeli strike campaign to wipe out Hezbollah’s entire command structure. As of today’s strike, Haider was Hezbollah’s operations commander.

So far it’s has just been confirmed that he was indeed the target and not that he has died.
