During their Withdrawal this week from the City of Deir ez-Zor in Eastern Syria, the U.S-Backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were seen transporting several 2K12 "Kub" Surface-to-Air Missile Batteries that they had captured from what used to be the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

General Michael E. The French territory of Mayotte has been hit with a cyclone in the past 24 hours. The strong storm, called Cyclone Chido, struck the French archipelago last night and so far 11 have been confirmed dead as a result of the storm. Worse still, the death toll has been estimated to be in the hundreds, as makeshift living spaces and communities have been decimated all across the islands. These makeshift communities are also inhabited by Mayotte’s significant illegal population, that numbers somewhere around 100,000. The French Interior Ministry has said that it’s still too early to accurately assess the full extent of the damage.
