Reuters reporter @idreesali114 asked U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth earlier why he decided to choose an under-qualified retired lieutenant general to be the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS), referring to U.S. Air Force three-star general Dan Caine, who does not fit several of the qualifications usually required of the CJCS, including being actively in the military and being a four-star officer, thus requiring him to receive a waiver.

Secretary Hegseth responded with, “I’m gonna choose to reject your unqualified question.”

President Trump in a Post tonight on Truth Social, urged TC Energy to resume planning and construction of the Pipeline, with him stating, “The Trump Administration is very different (from the Biden administration) - Easy approvals, almost immediate start! If not them, perhaps another Pipeline Company. We want the Keystone XL Pipeline built!”

An Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800 Passenger Jet, operating as Southwest Flight WN2504, suffered a near collision today at Midway International Airport in Chicago, Illinois; after a Challenger 350 Business Jet, operating as FlexJet Flight LXJ560, decided to cross the Runway that the 737 was attempting to land on. Thanks to the quick thinking of the Pilots aboard the Southwest Flight, they were able to abort the landing, avoiding a Major Disaster.

During today’s “close call” between two aircraft at Chicago’s Midway International Airport, air traffic control (ATC) can be heard telling FlexJet Flight LXJ560 several times to “hold short of runway 31 center” but despite this the pilots of the Challenger 350 decided to cross the runway anyway, nearly causing the disastrous collision with landing Southwest Flight WN2504. @flightradar24
