The U.S. Air Force announced that two test F-15EX fighter jets completed air-to-air and air-to-ground standoff munitions tests in Florida’s Gulf of Mexico. It is a long-lost new process since it was delivered to the U.S. Air Force in 2010.

CHINA – An exercise was conducted on the territory of the Baitabu airfield in the city of Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, the deployment site of the 95th Fighter Aviation Brigade of the PLA Eastern Command Air Force, at the end of August. The goal was to check the readiness of the involved forces and means to promptly restore the object damaged as a result of an enemy air raid. According to the scenario, the runway (RWY) was destroyed as a result of the use of air bombs by the enemy. For the restoration work, emergency services with special equipment and sappers were involved, who within three hours were able to carry out work to neutralize unexploded ordnance and repair the destroyed sections of the runway, which allowed the airfield to continue to receive military aircraft.
