Top Tips to Lower Your Blood Pressure Without Medications
According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, nearly half of American adults have high blood pressure, currently defined as blood pressure consistently at or above 130/80 mm Hg.
High blood pressure increases your risk for a number of serious health problems, including stroke, heart failure, sexual dysfunction, vision loss, heart attack, kidney disease and kidney failure.
Four out of 5 adults with high blood pressure are outrageously recommended to take prenoscription medication as the first step to lowering it, and all are advised to implement lifestyle changes. The fact that 3 out of 4 hypertensive patients still do not have their blood pressure under control really emphasizes the need for basic lifestyle changes to resolve this problem.

The Real Price of Taking Skinny Pills
The demand for medications promising easy weight loss has skyrocketed, with prenoscriptions rising 2,082% from 2019 to 2022. Semaglutide, more popularly known as Ozempic, is leading the pack, with the hashtag #Ozempic having received 1.2 billion views on TikTok as of July 2023 — to give just some indication of its popularity.
Semaglutide is sold under the name Ozempic as a diabetes drug and, in a higher dose, under the name Wegovy as a weight loss drug. It touts weight loss of 14.9% among adults with obesity, but it comes at a steep price. Not only does Wegovy cost more than $1,000 a month, it can also lead to debilitating side effects, including stomach paralysis.

Protect Yourself From Medical Bankruptcy
In the U.S., 66.5% of bankruptcies are due to medical bills, which amounts to 530,000 medical bankruptcies each year. Among those who file bankruptcy due to medical expenses, 72% have health insurance, highlighting the outrageous state of health care in America.
If you end up in the hospital, you know you’re going to receive a bill — but you don’t typically know how much that bill will be. It’s no wonder that two-thirds of adults worry about being able to afford surprise medical bills like these.
In fact, in a survey of public financial worries, being able to afford unexpected medical bills topped the list, followed by concerns about paying for health insurance deductibles and prenoscription drugs. Staying healthy is key to avoiding this medical bill debt trap.

Could the Root Cause of Autism Be Identified?
In this video, I interview Beth Lambert, who in 2009 founded Epidemic Answers, a research organization focused on helping children with autism and other chronic diseases.
When I graduated medical school, the incident of autism was 1 in 10,000. For the first decade of my medical practice, I didn't have a single autistic patient. By the mid- to late-1990s, I was treating hundreds of autistic children in my practice, and since then, autism has reached truly epidemic proportions.
In her 2010 book, "A Compromised Generation: The Epidemic of Chronic Illness in America's Children," Lambert reviewed not only the epidemic of autism but also other childhood epidemics, such as autoimmune diseases, and their environmental root causes.

COVID Allegedly Reemerges, Here's Why You Shouldn't Panic
According to news reports, new COVID-19 variants are on the rise and are being closely monitored for pandemic spread. In the U.S., EG.5, nicknamed Eris, has been declared a "variant of interest" (VOI), which means it is being monitored for mutations that might make it more hazardous.
Australian news are highlighting the BA.2.86 variant, nicknamed Pirola, while Irish news are warning about an Omicron offshoot dubbed "the real deal" by World Health Organization officials — just in case you decided that COVID was no big deal anymore.
Seven other COVID variants are also being monitored by the WHO, and an additional three variants have been declared VOI, which calls for more extensive monitoring.
Considering the many variants that have come and gone since 2020, isn’t it curious that media are now all of a sudden focusing on particular COVID strains again, just as we’re moving into fall and influenza season?

The End of Natural Health News and Freedom of Speech?
Censorship is ramping up at a rapid clip, and much of it is clearly directed by the U.S. federal government, despite a federal judge’s order prohibiting federal agencies and officials from communicating with social media companies about content moderation.
In recent days, several news stories have highlighted governments’ and Big Tech’s intent to increase censorship. There’s even a rumor that Google will ban independent media from its search results altogether. I’ve not been able to confirm this, but considering everything else going on, would anyone really be surprised if it were true?

How to Help Relieve Heartburn Without Taking Medication
Omeprazole (Prilosec), a proton-pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat heartburn, stomach ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), is the sixth most common drug prescribed in the U.S. Other PPIs include lansoprazole (Prevacid), pantoprazole (Protonix), rabeprazole (AcipHex) and esomeprazole (Nexium) — and they’re often prescribed to reduce stomach acid, in a misguided attempt to relieve heartburn.
An estimated 113 million PPI prenoscriptions are filled worldwide each year, but it’s estimated that up to 70% of people taking them shouldn’t be.4 Fortunately, there are many natural methods for heartburn that provide relief without exposing you to the many side effects linked to these popular heartburn pills.

New Study Suggests This Vilified Drug Is Actually Effective
As the COVID pandemic wore on, with potential treatments supposedly unknown, New York pulmonologist Dr. Pierre Kory and others tried to get the word out about ivermectin. A widely used antiparasitic drug that’s listed on the World Health Organization’s essential medicines list and approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, ivermectin is widely available, inexpensive and has a long history of safe usage.
In fact, since 1987, 3.7 billion doses of ivermectin have been used among humans worldwide, but it was quickly vilified — as were those who dared to prescribe it. Now, the tables have turned. Not only did ivermectin work against COVID-19, it was remarkably effective, resulting in a 74% reduction in excess deaths in the 10 states where it was used most intensively.

Who Is Responsible for the US Border Crisis?
In Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s mini-documentary "Midnight At the Border," he travels to the U.S.-Mexico border in Yuma, Arizona, to investigate the illegal immigration issue firsthand.
What he discovers, and reveals in this video, is a humanitarian crisis of shocking magnitude and a border security system crippled by politics and corruption. Along the way, Kennedy also gathers ideas for how to solve the problem.
"I witnessed this dystopian nightmare of this uncontrolled flow of desperate humanity crossing the border and converging here because of misbegotten policies by high leadership of the United States," Kennedy says.
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, some 1.7 million illegals flowed across the southern border into the U.S. in 2021, another 2.4 million in 2022, and nearly 1.8 million so far in 2023. 2022 was an all-time record, and the total for 2023 will likely break it.

Is Wikipedia Being Used for Information Warfare?
Intelligence agencies have a long history of using propaganda as a tool of war, and the effectiveness of information warfare radically improved with the emergence of the internet, to say nothing of artificial intelligence and social media.
If you’re over 50, you can probably remember a time when your family had a row of encyclopedias on the bookshelf — usually obtained at considerable cost — which were perused whenever you needed to learn more about a particular topic.
Today, you can’t even give a complete set of encyclopedias away because, well, we have Wikipedia. However, Wikipedia has also become a favored propaganda tool, so to call it unreliable would be an understatement.

Two Common Mistakes Athletes Make
In this interview, Timothy Noakes, Ph.D., a physician and sports medicine researcher in South Africa, clarifies common confusions about sports hydration and high-carb diets.
Noakes graduated from medical school in Cape Town, South Africa, in 1974, and received his research degree a few years later. Since then, he’s published more than 750 papers and two books, including the groundbreaking, "Waterlogged: The Serious Problem of Overhydration in Endurance Sports."
"Waterlogged" countered the conventional view that you should drink as much as you can, even before you feel thirsty, to optimize your hydration. As it turns out, that can be dangerous advice for endurance athletes.
