Zero chance the two featured lesbians could do the staircase test on SCBA and carrying a rescue pack. The entire illusion of their station hinges on the hope that they'll never actually have to perform the duties of a firefighter. Probably they can go years without anyone really noticing.

This old boomer stayed behind in pacific palisades with a friggin garden hose and saved his house. Every single house in his neighborhood burned down except his. He credits this to him being present to put out the small fires lit by embers from adjacent homes that would’ve otherwise caught the house on fire if he hadn’t sprayed them down.

Kinda makes you wonder about the wisdom of evacuation orders.
