This old boomer stayed behind in pacific palisades with a friggin garden hose and saved his house. Every single house in his neighborhood burned down except his. He credits this to him being present to put out the small fires lit by embers from adjacent homes that would’ve otherwise caught the house on fire if he hadn’t sprayed them down.
