Scored a pair of pair of 1972 "Power By Ford" 460 valve covers at the Tulsa Swap Meet for $5.

About ran out of time, but I got a late model aluminum radiator for the van.

Unfortunately early Thursday morning the farm flooded and even way out in the field it got the Cobra...
Water line was at the bottom of the dash. Luckily I had popped most of the body plugs out when we originally ripped the carpet out. I drilled a few holes in the body plugs of the rear floor and spare tire well to drain the rest out.

Grabbed a fan shroud for the radiator I pulled last week.

Swapped the Factory Duraspark II ignition system out for a Pertronix Billet Ignitor III Setup for the 460 in my 1979 F350 4x4 Big Pabby.
The Duraspark was a great system when you could still get replacement parts from Ford, the aftermarket brain boxes and pickup coils don't hold up and some are junk brand new out of the box.
Started the weekend off by trying to upgrade the sub-par original radiator in the Van with the one I pulled from the junkyard to no avail.
The mounting brackets and hose inlets and outlets were just way too far off to make work.

Ford in their infinite wisdom decided instead of filling this void with extra core to help in cooling instead just an extra wide mounting bracket.
After the failed Radiator install on the Van I decided to do a 3g alternator upgrade on Big Pabby my 1979 F350 4x4 with a 460.
Of course I immediately ran into clearance issues due to the larger case of 3g alternator and the mismatched brackets I originally scrounged up when I swapped the 460 in back in 2015.
I also found this shitshow hidden under a mile of electrical tape from one of the previous owners. Luckily I didn't need the majority of it.
