My Nephew had to leave the Army. He loved being in the Army. It was hard. It broke his heart. He wasn’t going to take a jab with fetal dna and he wasn’t going to take a chance on not being here at all for his wife and newborn son. He had a greater responsibility to his family. So he processed out ASAP. He retrained to drive a big rig. He sucked it up and got it done. It’s not easy being on the road 5 days a week, but boy do they appreciate each other on the weekends. And, now the more he learns, the more he sees the army he loved didn’t care about his life or his family at all. He made the hard choice that he could live with.
We all have a lot more hard choices ahead of us. Forgive yourself if your have regrets, learn from them and move forward.
As for me, I’ll go when God says it’s time, but until then no idiot communist bunch are going to run my life. Give me liberty or give me death.
