I just received a question in my proton mail from a very thoughtful person who asked me a question that I thought many of you might be interested in. Here is his question and my answer:

Question: Do you believe God has a rescue plan for us during this time?

Hi Jonathan:
I have no issues about sharing my thoughts with you on that question, I think it’s a beautiful question actually. My feeling is that God is not a rescue artist. Ultimately He controls everything in the world, the good and evil and he’s aware of it. My favorite quote from the Bible is Isaiah 58, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts, my ways are higher than your ways.” 

I truly believe that, and I believe that for the Lord, everything is written — He knows how it’s going to end and our deaths, even they may be in suffering and destruction, are within his understanding, not that he wants us to suffer — but I believe that He knows ultimately we will all be back with him. So with that said, I would say that He gave us so many talents, everyone is beautiful and talented in their own right and they are a vision that God created… And because of that, I believe He wants us to summon up those strengths and gifts… And use them In-service to our fellow man.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for!
