My heart felt sentiments at this horrific event. Charlie Kirk shot in the neck by what looks like a dedicated sharp shooter. Not sure he's going to make it but praying very hard.

I think it's important to remember balance in the situation because this morning of course there's everything from martyrdom of Charlie Kirk to people on the Internet actually celebrating what happened.
As you all know I've never interviewed Charlie but I didn't know him from the DC days, I never espoused his political work because I saw him as "conservative, inc" meaning that he was a package of the establishment on the right and as such he was representing the status quo, the inside circles. Yesterday I began this from the human tact of the horrific videos of his murder, the plight of his wife and children and the affect this has had on a nation already hurting, attacked by its own government, and divided.
And all the other gyrations that you will see today and in the days to come.
A lot of experts on social media are now saying that this was likely a professional hit, the man on the roof, the distance of the shot, targeting with precision, the neck, no chance of survival type injury, no viable suspect in custody or even identified by the authorities etc.
This could also be part of a plan to distract the general public from many other things that are happening right now and that may be about to happen so I recommend as I always do, that you take your time in this situation, watch unfolding things in the days to come.

I also found it odd that they dragged Charlie to a car behind the stage, that somewhat of his visibility and stature, that the university didn't have an ambulance near the stage waiting to take someone in case of an injury, like they do it sports games
