Where exactly did they take him?

A hospital? Hospitals record everything, like time of arrival, procedures attempted and pronounced time of death, release to the coroner/funeral director

An airport? There should be a manifest with passengers, flight plan, and proof of takeoff and landing

Call me crazy but the last I knew I was still in the United States of America where even someone who confesses has to still go through an arraignment and possibly a trial, with the judge deciding whether he or she will accept the confession and any associated plea deal

Alex seems really hot and heavy to name and label this guy but remember there was the elderly gentleman shortly after Charlie was shot, who also confessed publicly. This is why you cannot act quickly or hastily and you should be suspicious of the chorus that starts to label any of these suspects as the shooter.
